Isn’t part of the joy and purpose of football the dissecting and discussing and that isn’t all going to be happy clapping.

You’re quoting my reply to someone who said this is about a couple of bad results. I’m merely pointing out that it isn’t.

And I’m not a believer in some bullshit “spurs way” either.

I don’t care if we aren’t playing ticky tacker football as long as what we are playing looks well coached and is effective. If we’re gonna be pragmatic then let’s at least do it well, be aggressive, not fucking passive.

Mourinho has had two windows and 14 months. This squad isn’t Liverpool good but should we be below Everton, Solskjaer's ManU and Leicester? Should we have been outplayed in 2 of games against those three (and the other had 10 men)?

It’s not all bad points wise, but performances have largely been pretty insipid haven’t they? And considering the squad we have, we are not exactly over achieving either are we?

We were also poor in the first half, but I didn't have a huge problem with how we played until the penalty. I believe if we had gotten to half 0-0 we would've drawn worst case and probably won.

Hasn’t everyone been saying we have cover for every position, this a great squad with players jose wanted ? Can’t now change tune saying it’s not strong. May be we just arnt getting the best out of the players at our disposal. The transfer window on the whole everyone said was one of best in recent years. All the pundits as well saying how strong our squad looked. May be a tactical change with players doing what they are best and not having keep chasing back for 90 minutes might make the players look good. I think we can do it. I think one of our best performances this season has been the 2nd half against chelski in the caraboa where we went at them and played with pace. Much better football and watch.

If we got close this season and Jose and Levy could convince him next year is the year he might hang around. Normally I'd say he must be sick of slogging his guts out for fuck all but he seems to enjoy it, his mentality is quite extraordinary after all.

I certainly wouldn't blame him for wanting something new and successful, I just hope if he does go it's not to another club here, like you, I don't think he'd do it either.

You might be right, would prefer him there than here if he's leaving. Pre Poch I doubt he really considered it, winning the league really isn't worth much there after all. We shall see.

In fact I doubt many would shit on it now. It seems that here is really the only place I see people trying to make out PSG as a bad destination for people. Looking at the talent they get it doesn't seem the players think it is a bad place to play.

It also allows Kane as much rest as needed as he can sit out 90% of the Ligue 1 games if need be and likely any CL group stage game as well if he is injured. I think that will be a huge draw for him not having to be overplayed like he is now, especially under Jose.

Peopke who suggest that going there and winning doesn’t mean as much, it’s not just with Kane but with Poch as well. I doubt most people think that way at all.

People who would imply that if he won Liguria 1 with PSG it wouldn’t mean much.
