Every single Spur played well. Surprised with City (only their no 7 impressed) but maybe we were just better.
White didn't look happy at LB but came to life when he switched to midfield. Great FK at the end.
Standout player in the 1st half was Maghoma. Tanganga and Eyoma were solid as a rock and Hinds was excellent. He will definitely make it. Can't remember Austin having a save.
Bowden maybe not as influential as usual. TOB looked up for it.
Only annoying thing for me was when a player got into a good position to shoot they were looking to pass the ball (except Mr Parrott)!

Hopefully some of these talented lads can get some loans before the window shut.

Will not hold my breath though.

Agreed,

But if they stay at Spurs, I hope the ones who went on pre-season get some time with the first team, for Tanganga and Eyoma at age 20 they need to play mens football on a regular basis, they are certainly past u23 football (as is 22 year old Georgious and 20 year Sam Sashoua both of whom had decent loans in Spain last season).

Parrott and White are young enough that they could play u23's and get something out of it, but ideally get a few first team chances off the bench in parallel.

But there's about 30 players in the development squad, and they cant all play u23 football, so loans has to be the way forward for a number of them.

It looks like current club policy to only loan players over 21 or coming up 21? Personally think Georgiou will have to stick around until Davies and RS are 100% fit and maybe get a loan in January.

Clarke not in the squad. Neither is CCV. o_O
Amos starts. Sterling on bench.

Leeds can only name a maximum of 5 loan players in the squad, and Clarke misses out. Hope he is rotated back in on a regular( ish) basis, but at age 18 even playing say a third of the games wouldn't be a bad season for him, as although he's a big guy for his age, he probably still needs to put a bit of muscle on. .

Stoke have made 7 changes, including CCV, hopefully if its rotation, again he'll be rotated back in - with 2 seasons as a Championship level CB under his belt, it'll be a poor loan if he's not playing very regularly.

Brandon Bryan-Waugh joins the seemingly endless conveyor belt of ball playing CB's to come out of Spurs academy, whilst Dane Scarlett is possibly the next striker who might come from the Academy after Parrott according to others who watch u16's
