I don't follow the youth squad much, what is a realistic projection for Bennet?

Poch has not got a good track record of bringing players through at Spurs as you probably know.

And realistically there's only 2/3/4 players every age group who should be seriously catching the coach/managers attention, of which at best only one or two (on average) out of each age group will get more than a couple of appearances for the first team. But Bennett is a very good prospect as a winger/striker, fast skillfull with a good record of both goals and assists - links well with Parrott atm - closest player in Spurs first team atm is probably Son ?

And in Academy Year 2 (Bennett age group) there's a few (more than usual) who look good with Parrott (FWD) , White (DM), Binks (CB) and Cirkin (LB) as probably the other top prospects with Bennett, but at this age things can change fairly rapidly so the likes of Walcott and Etete could join that group - and one or two could equally drop out.

So if Spurs got their act together in developing players from age 18 to 21 (the current Berdmuda triangle at Spurs), there are players who might make it at Spurs and others who might fall a tad short and play at either lower PL sides or Championship sides.

I didn't watch the game so difficult to say too much but that turnaround in results is utterly disgraceful and just shouldn't happen. Troy or no Troy that is a shameful result.

Other than Bennett no speed or goalscorers amongst the front 4.

Needed a striker to play with Bennett, but all injured ( Richards plus , Mukendi. Asante) or Parrott with first team,. Only other obvious contender AM Rayan Clarke not in squad so assume also injured. Leaving Whittaker on bench - maybe he should have started with Bennett but then no game changers on bench.

Think it also shows we have not recruited enough goalscoring AMs in recent years - plus 2 strikers Mukendi and Asante injured for almost 2 years each !

We had some good ones in Roles shaushoa Edwards , keanan , but we have either given them away , or deemed not good enough or ready for pooch regime yet . When I look back at last couple of years Of the UEFA youth league teams we had some outstanding games and goals through those players ,now we get your steady eddies passing backwards and side ways . Bowden Skipp winks , even white to some extent , yes sometimes effects game with free kicks or penalties . Just proves how really good technique those players had , and what a great goal scoring ability they had .

Parrott not being on the first team bench makes it crazy that he didn't play in u19 match given we had no specialist striker.

At his age he needs game time so if not first team he needs to play a few u19 and even u23 matches to continue his developmenr
