Tottenham have joined the race to sign Rangers rising star Leon King in January.

The 15-year-old defender’s future at Ibrox is up in the air after he rejected the club’s offer of a first professional contract.

King has also attracted interest from Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, as well as Bundesliga big guns RB Leipzig.

He does not turn 16 until next month but is already in Scotland’s Under-17s squad and regarded as one of the best in his age group in Britain.

Rangers fear they could lose King as they did Billy Gilmour who couldn’t agree a professional contract and was lured down south by Chelsea for a fee of around £500,000.

The playmaker has progressed through the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge and already played four times for the first team, twice in the Premier League and twice in the League Cup this season.

A defender called L.King :ledleylick:

Good to see Etete back after injury.

Surprised to see Cirkin, White, Bennet and maybe Binks still playing u18s - think all would benefit from playing u23 football which all have done before

Former Spur Josh Onomah scores first goal for Fulham with a great strike from just inside the box. He's taken some stick from Fulham fans for his early performances but has been one of the best performers in a couple of recent matches....and now a goal which might lift his confidence.

Reminder of who is out on loan. CCV not in squad again today and seems doomed. Sterling is back at Spurs with an unusual injury. Georgiou has not forced his way into the side and has only been playing a few minutes here and there.
Only success it seems is Amos. Was subbed off late today but QPR were leading.
Roles is not starting (but still scoring) 😂

Roles is doing pretty well at Cambridge given that this is his first loan playing in men's football.

7 starts and 8 appearances off the bench totalling 695 minutes of playing time with 4 goals in League 2 - a goal every 175 minutes or a goal every 2bd game.

Think it might be worth getting him a loan at a League 1 club in the 2nd half of the season to get experience at a higher level - or having a word with Cambridge to ensure they start him more (some of the sub appearances are after re overing from injury so justifiable ) as his goals per game is pretty good at any level for an AM, has scored playing as the left AM, Right AM and Centre AM so far.

Think he was better played off the Left in Spurs u23 but having the flexibility to play in any of the ,3 AM positions is great for any manager.
