Skipp should have been sent out on loan years ago.

And then it's likely he'd have been competing for a place in our first team this season - instead of playing in the Championship.

But what's happened has happened and he's now finally getting the consistent minutes he needs at his age and he's coming on leaps and bounds.

New contract for Harvey White, until 2024. Happy for him. Haven't seen a huge amount of him but what I have he looks very promising, great weight of pass over medium and long range and obviously great set pieces. Hopefully he gets a good loan next season.

Harvey signed a contract until 2023 in February so another contract with a year extra and I suppose a pay rise.
Set piece specialist and assist king for the youngsters. Hope he can transfer that ability to the seniors and maybe bulk up a wee bit?

He looked lively against Lodogretz, it's a shame we couldn't be more dominant in the EL group stage and give the youth a run out more often.

Hopefully Marine and Stoke will be a chance for them to play. Batter them 5-0 first half and then give the kids a chance.

Jack Stacey and Cameron Carter-Vickers have faced a spell on the sidelines and, though not ready to return to action just yet, Tindall admitted that he was pleased with their progress.

"Both are doing really well and both are on schedule," he continued.

"I'm pleased with the progress they're making, we had a meeting with the medical department yesterday and an update with the individual players.

"They're doing well, they're in a good place and they're working hard - we hope to see them back in action soon."

I still find CCV's position very strange as he's been fit for many seasons, yet joins Bournemouth and instantly unfit !

Our former youth goalie Oscar Jansson (2007-2012 in our youth ranks and out on loan). Is nominated for goalkeeper of the season in the Swedish top flight. Having had a career high season between the sticks for Örebro.

Not so much a youth anymore at 29 but I found no better thread for this.
He went and won it. Goalkeeper of the season.

Spurs u23's away to Chelsea u23's @ 19.00 on Monday

Rumoured that 38 year old goalkeeper Petr Cech who has decided to come out of retirement and will play in Chelsea's u23 side , after having last played a competitive game of football in the May of 2019 - he will be double the age of many of his team mates and Spurs side !

This was Spurs u23's last team.

Austin,
Okedina (c), Lavinier, Marsh, Lyons-Foster,
Omole, White,
Pochettino, Devine, Clarke.
Etete

Substitutes : Kurylowicz, Mukendi, Pedder, Skinner, Thorpe.

Might be a change of goalkeepers as we have a few, Rose might play to get minutes but otherwise expect a pretty similar line up as before.

Interesting - great news for him.

How did he win it? I notice they finished about 9th and had no where near the best defensive record in the league.
Örebro finished 7th. Their best placement in 6 years. And Oscar made more saves than any other goalkeeper in the league by a sizeable margin. So he was a big factor in that placement.

He got 338 points in the voting. 7 more than second placed Aly Keita. The jury consisted of each participating teams captain and manager, as well as 32 invited journalists.
