Okedina really seems to developed into a far better player this season than he ever looked before - powerfully built RB/CB he made the bench in one pre-season game, although did not play. A sign I think that JM is watching him. After today's brace that's 3 goals in 11 u23 games - decent return for a defender

Clarke getting back to the sort of form which made Spurs decide to buy him from Leeds - regularly playing in u23's plus the odd EL appearance seems to have made a huge difference after a year where he hardly played on loan.

Harvey White now with 6 assists and 3 goals from 11 u23 games - very respectable return for a DM/CM, majority probably down to his great crossing ability and set piece delivery - in addition to the defensive duties he carries out for the team.

Still surprised JM didn't use him a little more in EL, given he did well in not only last pre-season but the one before under Poch where he starred as both DM/Cm and left back.

Marine Jan 10 and FA 4th round Jan 23.
Maybe Jose will try some academy kids? If nothing else it could be a shop window for potential loans.
Harvey loan afterwards?
Georgiou not involved recently but Marsh played today. You would think these guys will be looking for something in the Jan window.

White had a better game than I first thought with a hand in the first 3 goals :

Goal 1 - Okedina heads home from cross delivered by White from right (he usually plays on left)
Goal 2 - White wins a free kick on edge of box, hits the crossbar from the set piece with Lyons-Foster able to tap home the rebound.
Goal 3 - Corner by White, Okedina heads home,

But only one assist (goal 1) under most definitions....

Difficult to fully assess TJ Eyoma's progress at Lincoln City (2nd in League 1) where he's played as RB and CB but so far he's made 17 league game appearances, including 16 starts() playing 1357 minutes, 3 league cup starts (270 minutes) and one FA Cup start (90 minutes) - so in total 21 appearances (inc. 20 starts) played 1717 minutes (19 games equivalent).

Good experience to be playing that much in his first season playing mens professional football.

And more news on one of the one's who got away - Noni Mandueke scored again yesterday.

That's 5 goals and 3 assists in 12 games for PSV in Dutch League,

He's also got 1 goal and 1 assist in 5 games in EL this season.

I think if he had stayed at Spurs we might have seen him come off the bench this season - plays RW where we could do with reinforcement !

Eyoma makes Team of the Day at RB

Just noticed RB.
Mmm.. recall him! :)

I hope the coaching staff are watching players who seem to be doing well on their loans in particular (as well as the others to decide whether loans should be cancelled...*cough*...Jack Roles) to see if they should be brought back to Spurs or to a bigger league if the current loan is not testing enough/they are coasting- latter might be true of Eyoma.
