What do all 5 of these players have in common ?

They have all been at spurs for a considerable number of years and at their best they have only ever been average mid table kind of players , at their worst they are basically championship level footballers

How the hell are we in a situation where after years of average performances all 5 are involved in a match against one of our bitter rivals

Our squad management and ability to be ruthless when its needed is completely lacking

none of these players would have lasted 2 years at chelsea and yet they are still trotted out every week 3 , 4 ,5 years after being signed

We are not cursed , that is a feeble excuse for our lack of success , we have a terribly past it manager which also doesnt help but the fact that these players are still getting regular gametime tells you all you need to know about the competence and ambition of our owners
 
It does seem like average players stay here 7-8 years which they probably couldn't get at any other club this size.

Those players above are effectively at the biggest club they can play for. And they know it. The fact we allow them to stay year after year is our mistake. One we don't seem to have any intention of learning from.

Bergwijn's the next one that will still be waddling about the pitch for us every week in 5 years time

We even give them new contracts. I'm still flabergasted that we have Lamela a new contract. The cunt is barely ever fit, nevermind his actual on pitch performance.

Our recruitment is also completely headless. Why did we randomly plop down 10m in front of Leeds for Clarke? WHY?

Why did we spend 30m on Sessegnon instead of our urgent needs like a backup striker, a RB and LB?

It makes no sense AT ALL. We seemed to pretty much stumble upon PEH and Regui.

He's new, so I'm willing to accept him for another year but I fear you're right. He's gonna stick around forever.

He's still so chubby too.

Absolutely straight and utter FACTS.

All of the above players should have been dispensed with ages ago. They literally wouldn’t have lasted more than a season at any other top 6 club (bar probably Woolwich)
