He can't manage proven players? What proven players can't he manage at our club?
Capoue, Lennon, Kaboul, Soldado, Eriksen, Vertonghen Alderweireld, lloris, Walker? What is the criteria for a proven player.
He can't handle unprofessional piss heads, people who sow seeds of unrest and probably won't succumb to Adebayor's whims.
Woolwich got rid, Real didn't want him, City got rid. Why? Cannot Wenger, Mancini or even Mourinho manage him and get the best out of him? I suppose Tim Sherwood is the only man who can. Then Sherwood is no good as he is learning on the job and young. Never managed a club ever.
I am thankful for once we have a manager who is in charge. There are no grey areas and everyone is either on board or not. No fucking mavericks.
We should never have touched him Adebayor. Should never have paid him so much either. That is one instance when Levy should have told Redknapp to fuck off about £100k a week.
We were never getting LVG mate, or FDB. Did anyone believe LVG would have come to Spurs and operated on a shoestring?
Maybe we should have got an experienced PL manager like Pulis, Pardew or Big fat Sam.
I doubt Koeman could win us a league either. PSV and Ajax are different matters. He couldn't do much to advance Valencia in the league and they are usually in the top 5. He managed to get them their worst league position in 10 yrs , 10th. But he won a cup.
So, who would you want as manager?
Except we have little choice. Harry gets injured, or even needs a rest because it's unfair to burden him straight away with THE only striker tag. What do we do? If Son/Clinton look the part, fair enough but....
Not so much a false number 9 as a no number 9!
aren't you forgetting someone :townhmm:Its fine...even if Kane is poor this year
Chadli will do better, so 35-40 goals
Lamela can play there and he cost 5x as much..I make that at least 55 odd from him
Eriksen will be better this year...say, 25 goals?
Plus you have the likes of Mason, Dier etc who will chip in with 18 each or so
And Jan has easily got 12 goals in him, so has Walker actually
Sorted

I hope you're right but....Let's wait and see how this all plays out before lambasting each other until the cows come home.
I bet it doesn't turn out as bad as alot of you would like to believe
Hehe. Well he does chip in tbf. Not the answer though ( I don't think you were being serious!)
I would say not weakest but certainly the most imbalanced, no experienced DM or cover striker for Kane. We are relying on Dier and Kane being good all season long.
Depth-wise in the striking department yes. Looking at the overall squad with our strongest 11, I think this is one of our strongest sides.
