Interesting yes, but with the big money being paid out under the new TV deal absolutely no one will want to miss out. I think because of this it will be a very boring/cagey season with very little goals and plenty of 10 men behind the ball. Fear of losing rather than playing to win if you get my drift. I hope I'm wrong.
Well I just went over there to see how they were handling things and about a dozen of their fans were absolutely livid about how embarrassing that thread was and what melts they were acting like. That's also taking into consideration that there were a few rogue Spurs fans on that board acting like twats and carrying on about how Southampton was a small club and that yadda yadda yadda. They're not West Ham, they're not Chelsea, they're not Woolwich, and they're not 'Pool or United. They're a club that's gone from the lower leagues to the upper half of the Prem in just a few years, and that's down to damn good management, scouting, and youth development. They may be twats for thinking they're bigger than us, but they've done well and I think it's an exciting time for them, as they're knocking on the doors of the big boys. So what? Why should that bother us so much? Every club has plenty of embarrassing fans, but going over on another forum and rubbing shit in their faces is fucking pathetic. Leave them be.
