He's in for a rough awakening this summer... He's been very vocal in the press about wanting control over transfers lately. Expecting the final word on signings, having already identified his targets as well as wanting PL-experienced players... He's being very unreasonable! :eriksenlip:

I don't mind Soldado staying, but now he knows he's number 3. Rather than a big money signing pretending to be 1 or 2. You could find worse 3rd strikers.
I enjoy how our £26million pound striker that we thought would tear the league up is now referred to as this.

I feel like he just needs another club and a fresh start. I still think he could go to Spain and do a good job. I think if he stays here he's just wasting yet another year of his career to sit on the bench and do nothing.
There's better strikers you could get on a free; the best option all around is to let him go, take a huge loss and call it a day. Getting rid of him would also free up his wages, which I doubt are anything to sniff at.
