Think us signing Alderweireld has really pissed off Southampton, not that it's any of our fault as it's Atletico that have done the dirty on them not us but any chance of us nabbing MS is very unlikely even if he was wanting to come to us, think he's stuck in a tough place now Southampton pissed off at everyone and wanting more money for him while every single interested team rates him much lower.
 
He is in the final year of his contract and with Man United and Woolwich looking elsewhere probably we are his best choice.

Saints would be better taking the cash I am sure we could still do something. I mean Liverpool take saints players time and time again.

Another one I would happily drive to where he wants to go to. For me he always flatters to deceive and for someone who is mean't to be a winger, can't cross for shit.
2 goals (1 pen) and 2 assists is a poor return. If Levy can get 15mill for him then he is a genius.

They used to actually buy smart and bring youth players through. Made them (in addition to the obvious awfulness of Woolwich, Chelsea, Liverpool and co.) the lesser of the evils above us.

And yet now they splash the cash as shamelessly as any of the others - all while LVG fellates his own managerial 'prowess' for winning anything.

Fuck them. Below City in my estimations now (more annoying and ubiquitous fans in my experience). Here's hoping that their massive money signings do shite in their first season, and embarrass all involved.
