Now that is what I call a fucking GIF.

On of those was in the Europa. Look I think we all know he is slow and no one is suggesting he should start however when we're against the likes of of bottom half team in the Prem and we've got our backs to the wall having him on just to head most of the barrage of crosses is a very reassuring thing to have.
I agree that he could be used to help deal with crosses n high balls but i think hes a player who will need to be playing regularly to gain some sort of momentum and cant see him playing as often as TA & JV so would prefer dier or wimmer to get the game time ahead of him, but that said if theres injuries atleast we would have an expirienced cb cover but hey im not poch and i have no idea what he has in mind

We have creativity in Eriksen and Lamela, the thing we lack most in midfield is defensive cover, which is why we conceded so many last year. We need someone like we had in Scott Parker who can sit and sweep up any danger in midfield..

I agree we need to sign another striker, but out of those you have listed, who is going to be happy to play second fiddle to Kane? I mena we can't drop him and we don't play a 2 striker system. Dzeko will be on silly wages and will want 1st team football, Hernandez will only leave Utd for 1st team football and Cisse isn't good enough.

I'd still take a punt on Austin. I think he'd be happy to wait for his chance, and he has the chance to play in Europe, with a team that is growing which will only improve his England chances

Dont fancy Austin , agree with Eriksen however Lamella is hot and cold (mostly cold) Eriksen and Kane get injured and there are prctically zero goals in the team.
Mcarthy would also be a good signing

IIRC in 3 weeks we'll on the plane to the Audi Cup. Realistically that will be our last chance to integrate a new striker. As Stevie Martin correctly says we desperately need another in.

Will we have one by Aug 3, I doubt it. Will we have a poor start to the new season without one, I think so.

Why do you bother you senile old tit? Your negativity is a constant bore to the enitre board. You are positive about nothing. Just fuck off.

A bench striker will be the difference between a good and bad start? He may not even play if Kane is fit, so will have no bearing either way.

You just go out of your way to dig out the club at any opportunity be it the stadium, the manager, now our transfers.

Cunt.

Surely with United signing Schniederlin and Schweinsteiger there will be some midfield outgoings from them?

You'd imagine Carrick, Herrera and Fellaini will be looking to play 1st team. Id be a bit hesitant on Fellaini, he can sometimes cause more trouble for your own team than the opposition. I'd happily take Carrick back, he'd offer so much still and would pass on some great experience to Bentaleb, Mason, Winks and the rest.

Herrera is a bit more attacking but he looks class on the ball.

Can't see United getting rid of any of those. They will need the extra players as they have a european campaign to contend with this season. Last time around they were using Rooney and Jones in the middle in some games, now they won't have to with any of Schweignsteiger, Schneiderlin, Herrera and Carrick as the middle pairing and Fellaini to drop in if necessary (LVG got the best out of him further forward).

Daniel Levy said himself that the `new stadium scheme` would not in any way effect the strength of our playing squad or our short term and long term transfer budget. You keep using the stadium as an excuse. Are you saying he was telling lies then. Also aren`t Liverpool about to start work developing their own stadium ? Didn`t Woolwich talk about, plan, build and complete a new stadium all during ENIC`s ownwership yet still manage to finish above us every single season. Using the "proposed new stadium" to justify our pathetic transfer strategy is a very poor excuse I`m afraid. In fact it seems like your sucking up to ENIC.
And has it? Has it changed our transfer policy? I'd say it's been pretty consistent during ENIC's reign.

I'd like to see that Levy quote if you have it to hand. I can't see how something so costly, even at planning stage, cannot affect our ability to compete with our rivals in the transfer market.

You didn't use Liverpool as an example before. Anyway, they're a club with a much larger brand and therefore income than ours. Not comparable.

"proposed new stadium" - fuckin hell mate, seriously. It's being built. It's happening. You should be pleased.

Did you read my response to you about spending? You said we don't spend. I gave you our spending figure which was in hundreds of millions over the past 5 years...I assume you had no answer to that.
