Everyone has to be happy with Berahino..

For the purists - He's young, English and a proper prospect..
For the pesimists - his name ends in O.

Everones a winner..
Love you bro utter class respect.

Sausages. TELL ME THERE WERE SAUSAGES!!!?

Berahino not much better than Werner or Batshuayi? You must be joking? A young proven English lad who has shown he can score in the Prem compared -

A German lad still proving himself at a struggling Bundesliga team (and he's not a striker)

And a young lad who was sparingly used at Marseille last season.

The risk factor in signing the other two is huge. They would be signings based almost entirely on potential.

Berahino can, and will score goals in the premier league. It's as simple as that. The difference between them all is a chasm.
Berahino actually isn't proven. Strip out the penalties and he looks a lot less rosy. He scored 14 goals. But only 10 from open play. Almost a third of his goals were penalties. Werner and Batshuayi in contrast had none last year (Batshuayi missed the only penalty he took).

Batshuayi scored 9 non-penalty goals last year in 920 minutes. Berahino 10 in 3000.

Even if the French lad's rate of scoring fell 50% next year (likely), it's still better than Berahino's.

Saido is a decent prospect. Batshuayi is a really highly rated one.

I'd still rather a player with prem experience. Just my opinion.

Berahino played in a shite team in the toughest league in the world. Batsman played in one of the best teams in France that is always a very attacking one.

Do the other two league cup final appearances that you've forgotten change that?

not that difficult to work it out unless you are, of course, being deliberately obtuse
I don't think making the final of the league cup is an achievement worth shouting about really. If you look at the way the top clubs put out second string teams and the list of teams to make the final in recent years like Bradford and Birmingham etc..It kind of puts it into perspective..In terms of silverware, you can't argue that under ENIC it's been our most barren period since the war...

Not sure I'd buy that "toughest league in the world" tag.

Yes, Batshuayi was on one of the best teams in France, but wasn't the focal point of attack, unlike Berahino.

My point is not that Berahino is crap, but that he's not a clear first/best choice.

And it's also coincided with unprescedented competition in the shape of the owners of the other top teams. If we spend a fiver, there's a few teams that can spend a tenner.

Daniel Levy is brilliant.

I just wanted to write this to see if the plank that calls himself cretinousgoat puts a disagree.against it. Because the fucking halfwit thinks it's cool to give all my posts a X without even reading them

Does the anti Levy/ENIC point have to be brought up at every post? I've literally no idea of any of your views other than a hatred of Levy and disbelief of the stadium Honest John Honest John . Nothing against you but by gosh we've heard it, doesn't need to be repeated in the transfer thread every five minutes.:levystare:

Half right, half wrong. I am a 'fucking halfwit', true. However, I did read your posts you dumb boring miserable stupid fucker who dares to call themselves a spurs fan. That's why I gave you so many disagrees. Funnily enough it's because I disagree with you...pretty much with everything you say because you do nothing but bore the arse off people with the bollocks you talk on here. Whinge Whinge I hate Levy...Whinge Whinge I hate ENIC...literally that is all you post.

You've literally ruined the transfer thread all by yourself. Do everyone a favour and create your own 'I hate Levy/ENIC' thread. That way, no one interested in your shite has to put up with it.

Fuck it, I really can't be bothered dealing with your simple minded bollocks any more. Enjoy ignore you ignorant savage.

what if you dont think he's worth the asking price?

just paying the asking price is how you pay 37 million for Andy Carroll
You misunderstood me, because thats what I was implying at (it was a sarcastic post). Paying the asking price usually doesnt pan out well.

Its hard for me to explain, but if a club doesnt negotiate about bringing in new players, other clubs will start to want more money. United and Liverpool are good examples... they arent patient and the selling clubs know that. They will automatically raise the asking price by 10 or 15 million.

Yes, the money is there, but that doesnt mean you instantly have to spend it. You can still always try to work out a better deal.

All the bookies now have us odds on to sign Berahino. When they all agree it's usually a fairly accurate take on the situation. Please don't fuck this up Daniel.

Strong language to aim at a fellow Yid! .tell me, is there anything that could happen, or not happen in this transfer window that would cause you to criticise Levy ?.I mean anything. If so give me an example of something that would finally dislodge his cock from your throat . Reasonable question I think.
You're not a fellow yid of mine, so don't associate yourself with me.
So if a player doesn't want to sign for us because, well he doesn't it's Levys fault? Bentaleb doesn't score a hatrick every game? Fuck sake Levy force him to. I think you forget player's are Humans and have their own thought patterns. I haven't got anyone's cock down my throat, but the way you go on and on about Levy now you mention his cock, I think you may be in denial.

I've just finished of a loaf of bread, ffs Levy.

You just want someone to blame because your expectations are way to high. It's not Levys fault you want us to sign every good player on the planet and for us to win 10-0 every game, that's your fault. Maybe if your expectations weren't so high then you'd enjoy supporting our team.

they also had to recover from the bearded cunts regime. the man that made the club a laughing stock (and it was, under sugar). a time in which signing Jose fucking Dominguez was exciting news.

ENIC aint perfect. far from it. but the general trend under them, with one or two blips, has been upwards. If you cant see that or cant acknowledge you are as bad (if not worse) as the people you keep calling apologists and levy's cock suckers
