Small time club commenting like that to be honest. But we all know the express were jumping the gun anyway. Spurs to " complete in 48 hours" what a load of shit. By the way notice Westbrom have not said " Berahino is going nowhere" .... They know a bid will happen

Yeah, because you like to let the press know your opening bid before the club your buying him from. Laugh off the Lamela unhappy in London rumours, but believe old tight fisted, fiscally shrewd Levy has told some Telegraph journey exactly what his opening bid will be.
How much is Berahino worth then? A 21 yr old with one full season under his belt in the EPL. Is Kane worth £50m?
£10m just happens to be the value placed on him by the much used transfer market. These journals use the internet too to make up their stories.

No, they are saying there has been NO bid. Which kind of says that this £10m offer Levy told the journo's he'd made/was going to make is all Bollocks.
Whether there will or will not be a bid or transfer, there has been no bid, yet.

To be fair a bid can come in it at the last minute, what takes ages is for the debate over the price to be had, I think Athletico said there hadn't been a bid 24 hours before he signed for us.

That's what I said. They are saying at this time there has been no bid. It has not happened, yet.

Edit: It's mad how we will believe the bollocks when it suits us, but when it doesn't dismiss it.
No club is going to tell the press exactly what it's planned strategy is. Especially not Spurs. So when you hear that spurs are planning an opening bid of £10m, it's bollocks. It's guess work.
It just happens to be around the amount he's valued at and the amount we have left net from sales.

I cant understand why other clubs are not interested in Berahino? Maybe WBA are making it known he is for sale using Spurs who have shown an interest. The price will rise if others come in and WBA will get their 20 mill +?

just a thought.
