Transfers Summer 2016 Transfer Window Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Don't understand the Sissoko hate? He's a quality player. He had an up and down season with Newcastle last year but who didn't in that shower of shite.

Even more perplexing is people seem more apt to pay considerably more for Meyer who has been hot and cold at Schalke. Don't get me wrong I would be pleased if we got him but there is a reason Schalke are even listening to offers. He hasn't really pushed on like expected.

Stoke managed to sign Bony on loan and are currently trying to work out a deal for Berahino. How do they find it so easy to do business? We massively struggle in transfer windows. Just get Isco done on loan. were in the champions league this year, we could do with champions league experienced players!

He plays when he feels like it - like when he wants a move - otherwise he puts his feet up and coasts. Like Adebayor basically.

Poch looks considerably less worried than many seem on here

Surely a loan move should be insanely simple.
We pay his wages & a nominal fee to the loaning club. The player comes to us & we can assess him in the same way he can assess us as a club. If he isn't in Zidane's immediate plans then what does he have to lose? Come here, play CL football & have an opportunity to force his way back into RM. Or end up with a lovely contract here if he likes it & we like him. I'm sure it's more complex than this, but for the love of God it shouldn't be that difficult.

We only have evidence of that at the complete disaster that was Newcastle the past few years. That rep never was on him for Toulouse or when he plays for France (unlike Adebayor, who mailed it in every club he ever was at).

If Poch decides his issues were Newcastle related (quite possible) and he'd bring it constantly for Spurs, then he'd be a monstrous signing.

It is kind of refreshing to hear Man United say they can't sell to us as we are their rival. It wasn't too long ago we were bending over and selling them our best players and getting Frazier Campbell in return.
