Went to Hamburg, was there with VDV who I hoped he would be a replacement for when we signed him.

It was bought up by a few and rightly so.
What bothered me was not the paying respects to Bradley but the start of the second paragraph, 'However the earth does not stop'. It just sounded really disrespectful.
I'm sure we have some transfer kitty as well but like it or not we are more prudent than some and also we are not at the stage of completely rebuilding a side but hopefully small additions to strengthen.
I do sometimes feel that the media reference to 'war chests' is just a media phrase to hype up the transfer window more and glamourise it.

Julian Brandt looks a much better prospect than Meyer tbh.
Mbappe looks better than both I think.
He's not wildly over-priced, unlike English players.Meyer is foreign so must be better....

Well yes but thats clear. Meyer was seen as just as good a prospect as Brandt a few years back right?

Both hugely stagnated last year and had relatively average seasons. Also play different positions

I like Meyer, but how many Germans actually transfer to the Premier League, not counting those with mixed heritage. They seem to have great opportunities in the Bundesliga.
