Gomes is 26 in July. I don't agree with some who think his play is slow, he can be a bit laborious at times but not that bad. He can also transition quite quickly passing it about. He has a lot of solid attributes, quite well rounded. Not massively exciting but he would improve our squad. Lots of experience and good schooling in the technical dept. He isn't that exciting, but for the price, for the amount he will play, and knowing how Poch will improve him, it's a good signing. I think he's a safe if unspectacular signing. As long as he isn't our only midfield signing I think it would be good.

Well, if we were to go for one of his clients (De Ligt for example) we could not do any business unless De Ligt switches agents.
