Good point. I just don’t see it as the top priority position, DM and fullback deserves our attention first then replace Lamela with whatever is left over.

I am happy with not signing anyone past midfielders and fullbacks if it gives us the quality in those positions. I know it hasn’t felt like it at times but we really do have some
World class attackers already.

With a full summer off and full pre-season I am confident in our attack stepping up next season.

He's a good player - would spend up to £35,000,000 on him in all honesty. He's better than Andre Gomes.

It is a shite league but in all comps, he has 16 goals and 12 assists in 55 games. From central midfield. That's rather impressive.

You won't get de Beek for£35m Totti. More like £45-50m.

If we are going to add attacking players - front group players AM's/WF's etc - there are players like Fekir, Pepe, Werner, Thauvin, Gotze who'd possibly be higher on my list, but Malcom would be on that list too, especially if we - hopefully - move on Lamela.

It's not been great for him at Barca, but there's not great shame in that when you have Messi occupying your position - inverted left forward / ARM - and also great players like Dembele not getting games some weeks.

If we end up swapping Lamela for him, I wouldn't be devastated. He'll play more, and he's probably going to be a bit more productive.

I agree, our forwards are not the problem at the moment.

Should just concentrate on midfielders and fullbacks for now, we can fill the other spots at the end of the signing window like we usually do.

But I do wish we’d sort out the midfielders and fullbacks early rather than later, they need a preseason together badly.

He hasn't become a worse player by not being selected by the Barca manager. I'm sure Levy would try to get him for less than the 35mill Barca paid but even if he didnt succeed that price is reasonable in this market
