And if this is true, imagine his horror at the new found discipline harvested under Pochettino. He may have that experience of winning, however it seems his mentality has been infected with that Madrista ‘too big for your boots’ dickiness. We don’t need that in our dressing room.

Yeh my heart bleeds for the arrogant twat as he banks his £600k a week or whatever it is

Used to love him when he played for us

Wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole now

Bale fascination is odd.

Really truly ex-girlfriend situation. He couldn't give a shit about us and probably never has. Yet people want him back.

If he was never a Spurs player in the first place, no one would bat a fucking eyelid.

In:

Andre Gomes
Tanguy Ndombele
Ryan Sessegnon
Youcef Atal
Joachim Andersen
Jack Grealish

Out:

Vorm
Trippier
Alderweireld (sad times)
Wanyama
Nkoudou
Eriksen (painful times)
Janssen

Net spend c£50m. If this happened we couldn't really have any complaints could we?

Prices?

That in section looks like £205,000,000 to me at the minimum

Whilst I reckon we'd be lucky to get anymore than
£20,000,000 from Vorm, Wanyama NKoudou and Janssen being sold.

Not to jinx anything, but if we would win the CL, we get a rather busy calendar:

Supercup: 14th of August (4 days after we have our first premier league fixture)
Club World cup: Guessing the 18th and 21st of december (will be a very busy Holiday period with the excess of premier league games then already to come)

Depth would be key to surviving it

Not keen on all these Madrid youngsters. How many have one on to have a successful career?

Ive not watched Dani Ceballos but I assume he is like all the others that cant hold down a place at a top club.

Isco is also very overrated IMO. And so is Morata.

Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, Kroos, Modric, Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo carried the fringe players and make them look better than they are.

I'd say incomings involving Gomes, Ndombele, Atal, Andersen, Sessegnon & Grealish would be c£200m.

Outgoings involving the likes of Alderweireld (£25m), Trippier (£20m) & Eriksen, along with Wanyama, Janssen, Nkoudou etc could easily fetch us anything in the region of £120m-£150m if we negotiate hard. Unfortunately that probably means most deals will drag as the Eriksen deal will have a fair old bit of bartering to be had. Tricky to get the ones I've highlighted in at a net spend of c£50m, but not impossible should a few things go our way such as Gomes only having eyes for us, likewise with Sessegnon with a year left on his contract, Grealish not getting promoted etc.

Also got to take into account monies in should we move the likes of Onomah, CCV, Edwards on etc

If Ndombele would happen and Eriksen leaves, do you guys reckon (not do you hope) we will still look for a high quality like for like Eriksen replacement too?

There are very few like for like Eriksen replacements out there though, especially if Brandt does go to Dortmund.

I think we'd probably (if Brandt goes elsewhere) be better off buying another quality 8, and a really top quality AM with some brains and composure who will pick up some of the creative/assists/goal slack that we will lose with Eriksen. Personally if we can't get Brandt, and we get NDombele, I'd think about Fekir and someone like Rabiot, Havertz, Aouar, Maxi Lopez, Tielemans and just playing a bit differently (433 more often hopefully).
