Didn't Gomes have a rumoured pricetag of around 30m when we were previously linked.
Given his subsequent EPL try-out at Everton; I've been assuming circa-40m for him too....
Has Gomes actually been any good? Remember him being pretty poor when we smashed them 6-1 up at Goodison. Would rather we signed Tielemans.
