Always rated Moura, while people keep fawning over Sessengon as a winger, and crap like Zaha and Martial who have two good games a season.
Let’s put it this way. Lucas is a good player but he’s not world class. Son is a better player and for me has to always start for us. Lucas is very hot and cold. But a class player too.
I don’t think Lucas has had a fair crack at a run of games in one position to judge him fully yet which is mad when you think he’s been here 18 months but that could easily be why he is hot and cold. I hate the term world class in football as it means something entirely different to each individual person.
At the end of the day you don’t score the most important hat trick our club has ever seen if you are hot and cold, especially as he followed up with another one shortly after the Huddersfield match!
I find it odd you are playing the world class game regarding Lucas and your answer for an upgrade is Zaha

Son easily gets the nod over Lucas. But both are 26, and I'd like to see us keep both as long as possible. Like Son, Lucas never stops running. For good, and obvious, reasons we all fawned over his 3 goals. But watching that 2nd half 4-5 times now I noticed him full sprint/pressing chasing down balls and causing turnovers after the 90th minute. He was gassed, but still running as hard as he could, just to win the ball back never mind to get a shot off.
I'd gladly take another player who can challenge him and Son, but that would be for a matter of depth, rather than straight replacing Lucas.
Because we don’t have the money to buy world class players. And if I rate zaha what’s the problem? It’s just like my opinion
Lucas is a warrior in the field always. That’s not up to discussion. I just think we should add another player into the mix to challenge him because Lamela is broken for good
