Unfortunately, statsbomb put Bruno Fernandes' template as midfielder as opposed to attacking midfield/winger so comparisons with Eriksen for example wouldn't be under the same template.

I only added John McGinn for SausageVince SausageVince

Here is Lo Celso though at Betis:

Here is one they did when he was at PSG:

Compared with Bruno Fernandes in a weaker league.

In the ATTACKING MIDFIELD template though.

Here is peak Eriksen from 16/17:

And here is Lo Celso using that particular template.

Though worth noting it's an updated layout and the stats arent in the same order. "Pressure regains" on Lo Celo's image is where "Successful dribbles" is on Eriksens etc.

Interesting that to me, anyway, all those seem to show Lo Celso's strengths (drbbling fouls won, passing etc) as being those I associate with a CM rather than an AM where shots/assists etc should be more prominent. Maybe illustrates Lo Celso is seen ore as a work in progress by Poch ?

1. I wonder if we are interested I signing both Lo Celso and ANO midfielder, so as Lo Celso is at Copa America and his sale (if Real Betis actually sell - they probably don't need to but will do at right price to them) will not be known until July, hence we are happy to also bid for Bruno Fernandez whose record of shots/assists/goals in the Portugese league is very impressive (although I'm not sure how that will translate into PL stats.

2. So far the weight of rumours appear to be :

Lo Celso
Ndombele,
Fernandez
Sessegnon (one for the future ?).

And despite Alderweireld and Vertonghen's contracts having only a year to run, very little rumours on CB's coming in.

I wonder if both maybe signing new contracts at Spurs now ?

Interesting times as to how TW is shaping up !

With Hazard going for £88M (+ add-ons), if that £80M number floating around for Eriksen is true then Levy should bite the bullet take a few quid less than he wants and reinvest the money ASAP to get the new players bedded in.

Considering what dross has been signed by clubs for such high fees Hazard at £88m is a great deal. He is an exceptional player that often drags Chelsea across the line single-handedly. Really the sort of player we need.

Not enough RB rumors going around for my liking. What happened to all the Atal talk?

No word on Atal recently, and only small volume of rumours at end of the season.

No other RB's mentioned by any reputable sources recently either (except Steven Sessegnon who is a youngster)

Rumours of Trippier off, leaving us with Aurier and KWP.

Very little on other incoming defenders (except Sessegnon as long term MB, starting as LW).

Strange ?

I saw a video of Fernandes where quite a lot of his goals were scored with the help of terrible goalkeeping.

Looks like Liverpool are being linked along with Utd

I agree that 4-3-3 is the way to go, especially if we manage to sign the targets Poch has.

NDombele
Winks - Lo Celso
That would be my first choice midfield 3, but if Lo Celso isn't pulled off then maybe a bid for Van De Beek? NDombele is a must, no two ways about it.

The only worry I have is where Dele fits in. Does he play as a forward alongside Kane and Son, or does he rotate with the midfield. As off a season he has had, not forgetting injuries, he is still a goal threat and usually chips in with 10 goals a season.
I’ve always seen Dele as a striker. He can play ok anywhere in midfield, but easily his strength is up front. Time to make the transition

Its negotiation though.

If a club calls, Levy might say at say £100m - £120m, but that club will bid say £60m and they eventually agree on a number in between.

Problem atm maybe that no club has called to ask about Eriksen (based upon Eriksen interview a few days ago)
