You were the one who stated that you didn't understand.
Look up Eric Cantona and comments about water carriers
And then try to think about the importance of a prop shaft to a car.
I think my response actually said more about you than it did about me.
Because you were the one who admitted publicly that you didn't understand why he plays the way he does.
Ask Blakey, he can bore you to death for pages and days. But really all you have to do is to watch the game and work it out for yourself. If you can't then get your trunks out.

For me, a Potch type player is as follows;

1) can play in multiple positions to improve squad rotations and in both pre and mid match tactical scenarios

2) will be willing to work in Poch’s mentality of “you are paid to train, and you have to train hard and train well to earn a spot in the starting 11.

3) you have to be an active part of the community of players that is the first team.

The first point is the only one we as outsiders could possibly comment on. The other two and what Poch needs to believe they have when they join, and what will see the ostracised after signing if they fail to demonstrate.

That’s my take on a Poch type player at least.

No way Ake is our level. There is better English center backs than him so as far as i’m concerned we can pass him by.

I said nothing of the sort. Perhaps your comprehension is off. I absolutely understand the value of a recycler but properly recycling the damn ball should lead to less pressure AND THIS IS THE FUCKING POINT THAT YOU ARE MISSING IN YOUR ZEAL TO SHUT DOWN DISSENT AND CRITIQUE. My criticism was of a few passes with no intent (yes, even backwards or sideways passing can have intent hence I had no complaint about them). So if you actually understood me it was surprise that he passed the buck (expressed) instead of what his passing is typically (implied).

I don't need Cantona's perspective in order to determine mine. Appealing to authority is the calling card of folks incapable of understanding, analyzing, and/or conveying their point. You can choose which pertains to you. Find someone else to argue with but I plead with you to first understand their position before showing your ass to everyone.
