Sakai would be a slight upgrade on both Trippier and Aurier IMO. He's a smart player with some decent physical traits as well. I would take him as a dept signing if Trippier or Aurier leaves. A veteran hand to throw in as a plan B.

I didn’t say I wanted Bakayoko. And Kessie wouldn’t be my first choice either, but considering he’s only 22, i think he’s got some scope, and he’s sure as shit an upgrade in a CM2/3 on Sissoko.

The Hiroki Sakai link actually makes quite a bit of sense tbh.
Firstly I've seen him enough times to make a judgement call on him and he's a good full back.
The thinking behind it could be that we are getting an upgrade on the rb position at a good price being that Marseille need to sell....and we can reinvest the rest of the potential Trippier sale on other positions. Tripps out for 20m and Sakai in for 10m is good business regardless of his age.

Why are we talking about these two. Isco should be our number one target and we should not be settling for anything less. If they want Eriksen he has to be part of the deal. Fekir should be in the picture too. These are the quality players we need
Van De Beek, but to be honest it doesn't take much.
I lean towards Tielemans more due to his experience in the league, and he is capable of controlling a midfield. However Van De Beek likes the late run into the box, great movement and has more of a goal threat I think.
