Players who will help them get back in the Champions League. Keep dreaming mate if that's what makes you sleep better at night, but Woolwich are pulling some deals that will strengthen their team.

They'll strengthen their team, very possibly see them shoot ahead of us, and then face a massive fiscal cliff to hold any of it together, let alone retain any sell-on value to tinker around the edges.

Our empty-pocketed rivals paying big wages and loan fees to temporary players is a very, very good thing. This is desperation. We just have to get our fucking house in order.

Not going to look so desperate if they finish above us and take our champions league position because of our own ignorance and fucking about in the market.

No matter what way people try and spin it this window has been a disaster so far, we make it to the CL final and instead of actually finally pulling our finger out and trying to seize upon the opportunity we are, yet again, doing last minute business (if we do any) and have only replaced a player that we should have replaced the season prior.

It's piss poor if it stays the way it is and if United and the Scum finish above us then it's unforgivable.

I reckon Woolwich have pulled a masterclass.
Convinced everyone they're skint then went out and spent £100,000,000 on 2 players.
Not like they've had to sell to do that either.

So, just so I understand this:

Scum getting £72m Pepe and possibly Coutinho weakens them and is laughable.

Spurs getting one player untested in PL makes us awesome.

Ok. Understood.

I mean Scum are miles behind us. We romped to CL qualification last year and beat them by a massive POINT marginb. What kjokers they are and what world beaters we are.

If only I was a positive love me Spurser.

There's an unhealthy level of blind delusion in here, isn't there,

No doubt they'll all be boiling their piss by November when we're screwed.

If they get couthino and this centre back they're after then they become serious serous top four rivals. Very depressing.

As for us well it's a shambles, but that's Levy and transfer windows. I guess it boils down to whether you think the other amazing stuff he does is a worthy pay off.

Personally I'm sick of it. We have our best manager in decades clearly frustrated , losing three of his best players , maybe for free in the next , his waiting and waiting to see how he can shape his team and bear in mind he will have the choice of every top job in Europe when he decides to go.

I've no idea what will happen on Thursday but this isn't the way to run a well organised football team. Sure his been busy with the stadium and sponsorship deals but why then hasn't he employed a proper sporting director to do it for him?

For me it's not about what I think we need or anyone but Poch. We just back Poch and make him think he can make this project a success. Right now with the way the club are conducting their business would you honestly blame Poch for going to Madrid on Manchester this year?
