I put Poch in on it because if what has been reported before is true, and that he refuses players when there is money available then he can be held accountable also imv. I agree we shouldn't be settling for poor/cheap alternatives but we should have a shortlist of more than one name for a player?

Forgive my early melting. The window isn't over yet. I am just really concerned that we haven't addressed quite a few issues.

I think Poch kept him around last season to work directly with him, as though his tuition is more valuable than Premier league game experience.
He trusted him to start against Barcelona which I think says something though.

KWP should get more game time this season, and we can expect costly mistakes from him - but also such mistakes can be expected from Hugo. Can he offer us a bit of pace on the flank, some runs to open space for more creative players, an overlap which see's Harry dart for the near post? I think he can offer that with less risk against teams we will expect to dominate possession. Not sure I want him starting away at City in a couple of weeks, that's for fucking sure.
 
Don’t see why Levy always gets the blame. There’s only so much he can do. How do we know Joe Lewis hasn’t told him he has a strict budget and will not be allowed over it? We have to be realistic with it all. Real and PSG have the capability of spending millions every year, but we can’t. We have to accept that.

We should be able to sign Fernandes and Lo Celso, but are they worth £80m each? Let’s be realistic

Personally I'd rather see us loan a top player so that we have time to analyse other options rather than go hefty on a perm that for me doesn't tick enough boxes whenever I have seen him which admittedly is only 3 times

We've had the whole of the transfer window to analyse options and it's come down to this, if he had more time he would just do the same thing he's doing now.

Hey, if nothing else happens it's still been a fantastic window for us.
Actually, the January window was fantastic too. We banked 15mill for Dembele.
Come to think of it, last Summer was a fucking blinder as well. We managed to keep all our money while everyone else squanderd theirs.
