What profile CB is Rodon? Strong and imposing? Quick? Good distribution? Left-footed?

Right footed centre back who plays left side of defence. Good with both feet. 6 ft 4 and great on the ball. Had a real trouble with injuries though. Which is a black mark against his name.

Got a mate who supports Swansea who thinks he's the best centre back in the Championship, raves him about him every single week. And his centre back partner Cabango.

Racist

Probably why we are looking at Rodon. Jose wants another CB and his preferred choice isn't happening but he still wants depth.

Get the feeling Jose isn't happy with Sanchez. Loves Dier, Toby just signed a new deal, likes Tanganga but he's still young. Rodon can play on the left as well, which seems to be a concern for Mourinho.
Pretty sure José would be happy with Davies as an option at left sided centre half. Certainly until maybe next summer to get the right player in.

Also, every time I see Rodon I just think of Rodan, so that's a huge plus in my book.

Everytime I see Rodon I think of Rondon. DEFINITELY not as cool as Rodan.

I know EFL can still sign from EPL after today, but is it 100% that the other way round can still happen too?

We'd have 11 days to sign Rodon wouldn't we?

Send them CCV in return and £15,000,000.
Would be surprised if we paid more than £12m for him total. This isn't quite a punt but £18m just seems like a lot with 2 years left on his deal. Swansea would need to bet on him staying healthy all season (risky) and hope to get £20m+ or so for him next summer from United or something.
