Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Get him in. He's not perfect but EPL proven and would be a massive upgrade over what we currently have.

+Hojbjerg (25 million)
+Fraser (free)
+RB (20 million)

-KWP (5 million)
-Lamela (10 million)
-Aurier (15 million)

Net spend = 15 million

Seems pretty reasonable.

Selling both RBs is quite the gamble.

Fraser is a left winger - Lucas is a right winger or a second striker
Sonny is probably one of the best left wingers around. What's the point in a mediocre LW sitting on the bench when we desperately need to be looking at our leaky defense. That HAS to be our priority surely. We don't lose games because we can't score. We have an excellent attack force.
We lose them because we concede so many stoppable goals either through having no CDM to command or because our back 4 are in total disarray.

give it up, there is no summer transfer window for us..
I'm still surprised levy has not tried to charge the NHS for using our stadium. The usual buying potential when we need quality, or just buying second rate players like usual.

Oops! We ran into some problems.

I don't really get the Lucas hate.

Great squad player imo and can have a worldie on his day. Pacey, hard worker and is a decent finisher.

Mourinho obviously rates him and I think most teams would be happy to have him as an option off the bench.

For me it's clear that the front 4 picks itself in a 4231 - Kane with Alli behind and Bergjwin and Son as wide forwards.

Our issue is how to balance the midfield behind that and get the best out of the two most technical players we have (Lo Celso and Ndombele).

But as a back up across that front 4, Lucas and Lamela are good options. I'm not sold on Fraser at all but as a free transfer it's almost zero risk - sell in 2 years for 10m and walk away if he's pony.

I personally like the 433 but that's just because im desperate to get Gio and Tanguy playing sexy football together in the middle... not sure we will ever see it consistently though :(
I think Lucas would be a far better player if Jose could persuade him to lift his head once in a while and see who's around to take a pass.
His habit of hanging on to the ball until he loses it is what holds him back
Learn to be more of a team player and he would be invaluable.

You know the thing about fans of clubs who get taken over, leading to them to “fall out of love” with their club? Seems to happen because they no longer feel connected in the way they used to and they bugger off and start supporting a lower league team?

Any chance some of you cunts that think we should be spending a gazillion pounds every window can do the same? Always seats available at Stamford Bridge or the Etihad.
