So is this

Tottenham are negotiating the potential return of former youth player, Marcus Edwards. (TodoFichajes) Talks between Spurs and Vitoria de Guimaraes are at an advanced stage, and a deal could close for a fee worth around €18M.
😳 😂
He's young and English, there's no doubt he has some God given talent but again, questionable attitude...maybe Mourinho thinks he can make something of the talent and Levy will have a gamble?

We probably had a buy back clause. Could be just agent bluffery, could imagine the whole pandemic thing might have made him think about the UK.

Tbh. Nothing would surprise me. LOL!

That would mean new FBs on either side. Probably won't happen over one window. Who would be a good RB option?

Just talking about FB's and not other priorities, as much as I'd love someone like Hakimi or any upgrade on Aurier, right now I would prioritise LB over upgrading RB because I think we are even weaker on that side.

As far as RB goes, it's a toughie, I haven't got to many young up and comers on my short list, as I've been mainly looking out for DM and LB's. Funnily enough I quite liked the look of the young kid Spanish at Dortmund - Morey - who's starting getting minutes. Atal is good going forward but caveat has always been he's not played much as actually RB in a back 4. There's some's English kids like Lampty (and some others starting to emerge I think) but I've not seen much of any of them. Aarons I've not been convinced by.

Truth is, and this has been the case for quite a few years, there aren't exactly a plethora of quality Rb's around. Just look at who ManC and PSG have ended up with. We could have gone for Periera when he was at Nice, but like Atal, at that stage he was mostly being used as either a WB or ARM.

I did ask, because I reached the same conclusion. I can’t really think of any RBs atm I really want. Hakimi was probably my go to guy even though he’s not the strongest defensively, but he may be gone now.

Have you consulted with Dr. Sheldon Rumsfeld on this?

We need someone that can take a free kick and a fucking corner. Right now, I have absolutely no faith in anyone being able to deliver a goal from a free kick or a half decent corner.

What about Ward-Prowse? I've seen him play CM/RM and RB, Is he complete shit or could he be good enough to play for Spurs?

From what I've seen of him (little) he doesn't look that bad, I think he might be inconsistent..

Harvey White, currently training with first team and on bench v ManU and heavily involved in preseason 2019 playing DM/CM and LB, is consistently good at corners and produces a number of dangerous free kicks - possibly the best set piece taker ever produced by Spurs academy.

Free kick when making his debut in Checkatrade trophy (u23 sides v League 1 and League 2 sides) almost TWO year ago.

RB: Dest and/or Baldock and/or Ferguson (pick 2)
CB: Kim and/or Gabriel
CM: Hojbjerg
ST: Milik or Schick

Its a realistic list.

IMO we will always have a problem getting a striker to rotate with Harry unless he can also play elsewhere, so as to ensure he gets enough game time, although on past evidence its likely that Harry will be out for a couple of months each season. And there are limited realistic options

I'd also like to add Eze to the list - great stats with 12 goals and 8 assists in 39 games this season, over 100 professional games yet only 21 https://www.whoscored.com/Players/332403/Show/Eberechi-Eze and others stats such as 2.4 shots per game, almost 2 key passes per game 3 dribbles a game, frequently fouled are all excellent. Although only Championship, I think he can be a real force in PL for years to come, and a real improvement for the squad. With one year left on his contract QPR will want him to move this summer, and we have good contacts with QPR and could get a cash plus youth players deal (eg Amos who has made 26 appearances for QPR this season)

1. If we get a striker we sell either the ever injured Lamela or less productive Moura (scores goals but few assists) as both are 28 (as is Son) so we need to move an AM to prevent us having to replace too many at the same time. And IMO Eze will be better than either. And HG

2. If we cannot get a striker we like, we will probably replay upon Son or Bergwijn to replace Kane, and both are viable in that role, however that reduces the AM's down to Son or Bergwijn, Dele, Sessegnon, Moura and Lamela (5 AM's) to having Eze gets up to 6 AM's even if Kane is out.

I'd prefer (1) but accept (2)
