Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It doesn't matter they are the club with the most similar finances to us and yet they are spending and we are not

I wouldn't mind if we got some players in but so far all I'm hearing is its 1in 1out , so that means 0 net spend...
I'm not sure I follow what you're saying.

A lot of people on here have listed players in our club who aren't good enough. So 1 in 1 out is fine, if the players we get are better than the ones we currently have.

Net spend means fuck all.
As I keep saying, our net spend is higher than the Dippers over the last 5 years and look where they are.
TBF though, our position on the "net spend league" over the last 5 years is 14th.

There's 2 ways of looking at that.
1) If we had spent more we MIGHT have won something.

2) We need to spend wiser or better, invest in areas of the squad that are short. As the Dippers have.

Look at teams like Everton, having a high net spend has done fuck all for them.

It's a combination of 1,and 2 if you want to sustain any sort of success dude.
One without the other is a blunt sword.
Everton have won fuck all , so have we , both are doing it wrong.

Is Castagne any good - legit question

I am no expert on him, I can only base it on what I've read and the couple times I've watched him play.....I don't see him being a world beater but he should be an upgrade from Aurier. He plays a pretty physical game which could get him some yellows but it isn't reckless or idiotic like we see from Aurier at times. The other part of his game that stuck out the most to me was his passing and ball skills. Looks very comfortable with the ball.

The big bonus with him is that he is comfortable with both feet and has played RB and LB. I'd imagine he'd be brought in as RB but it'd be nice to have someone who can fill in at LB if needed.

I think we can do better than him as starting RB though. Which is why I said I'd be happy with him and Klostermann.

This place is hilarious. Galtier was shouting at Celik because he wasn't positioning himself properly when Lille were knocking it around at the back.

So yet again Levy is pulling the wool over are eyes

- Willian £250k Contact , Aubameyang new £300k Contract
- Gabriel - 30 million euros
- Pablo Mari - 15 million euros

Despite the fact that COVID will lose clubs millions and that transfers won't be the same

Whereas Spurs have currently spent so far £3m.

#LEVYOUT

I bet you were one of the people who said they won the transfer last window weren’t you?!?!
