No, he was playing for Harry's team against the Germans......
That's nice of him not to help out his club who could potentially be facing relegation :/

I understand both sides of the argument - without a pre-contract (can he sign one in England now?) you are always running the risk of breaking your leg and not getting the move / £££.
As a fan I would be fucked off with the player, if I were the player I'm not sure I wouldn't do the same (3 year contract on £60K p/w is best part of £10M - I would do a lot for £10M)
And he would have finished his contractual requirements, if he could have done that 3 months earlier he probably would have - you are right but it doesn't change my view. All that's really happened is the time-frames have shifted.... A similar risk will apply whether the season ends mid May or end of June. The only real diff is that due to a set of on-off circumstances, he's been afforded a get out from that risk.
Time to show a little integrity.... He's just had 3 months pay for doing fuck all.

100%, I would also likely do the same. As I said I understand both sides.I don't expect to change your view, fella...
I just think it would be a poor show on his part.
Rod was American. Before COVID I found it quite satisfying to see my friends who are Liverpool fans all bored; and not actually watching games because it was a given that they would win it.
And City fans, given up cause they could no longer win the league.
The fun is in the hunt! The emotions of winning and losing are all part of what makes football exciting.
Reminds me of the Tennis at Wimbledon. Was so popular as Britain chased a win for so many years. Henman, Roddick etc...and then finally Murray won! The next year, nobody was talking about Wimbledon and the fun of the chase had gone.
In summary, let's never win anything. Its more fun that way!
FTFY-
I was just winding my mate up that he was going to come here.
Same.
