But they’re as skint as we are.
Barring 20 years where Wenger elevated them above their station they are a slightly less poor West Ham.

They agreed deals worth over 100 mill last summer for Saliba and Pepe, paid for in installments, so can do the same again this summer for Upamecano and Partey. Money is not the problem, it's whether the players are good enough and can adapt to England and the PL.

Son will be 28 in July, so he is in the ‘prime’ of his career. I find it odd that a superstar like him has never been linked to the stereotype big clubs like Bayern, Juve, PSG, Barca, Real etc...

How likely do you guys (and girl) think he will be here for the rest of his ‘prime’?

That he was potentially off to do military service kept the truly big clubs from going for him.

I think we will have him on our books for 1-2 more years at least. He's on a deal until 2023 so he would cost a pretty penny to purchase.

Superstar in Asia but not Europe.
I think he is far too inconsistent to be a regarded for a regular title winning club and they are not interested in paying the dough Levy would like.
Sometimes brilliant and many times ineffective or it may be he plays with a poor midfield that offers him so little .

and we signed 160m worth of players last summer. Kind of pointless now given covid has changed the finances of all clubs

Long may it stay that way, there might be a possibility that he will stay with us for the rest of his career due to covid.

Off Aurier and Forth get proper right back, off Rose get motivated left back, Bin N'fatso bring in Rakitic and Coutinho, let Jan go snap up Thiago Silva, bring in decent back up striker, bin Dier bring in solid DM, challenge for the title.

Very likely. I wouldn’t say he is underrated, most other fans rave about him, but he is often overlooked. One can ask why that is and I am sure there are some nefarious reasons. However, he would command a top fee - £70 million odd - so maybe that is it. Although Grealish for £75 million is absurd.

So today we are linked with free transfer Thiago Silva

We now have Meunier, Silva, Fraser and Willian lined up for free transfers this summer. Let the good times roll
