Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Only one way to find out I guess....
I doubt we expected such an impact from Dele above the rest you quoted. But it happened. We sometimes get a gem. Even Eriksen was massive value for money overall.

I can only believe Fraser will improve having Kane to aim passes to, than the perma-injured Bournemouth strikers.

Any chance some of you cunts that think we should be spending a gazillion pounds every window can do the same? Always seats available at Stamford Bridge or the Etihad.
Being disappointed with the clubs transfer record doesn't necessarily equate to being a cunt or wanting the club to spend a gazillion pounds though, does it?

Maybe some of us would just like to see us pay over the odds once in a while if that's what it takes to get the managers top target.

Maybe some us get excited at the thought of a big name signing joining our club once in a while.

Perhaps we think should be a big enough, rich enough club to attract such a player occassionaly.

And maybe we just don't enjoy being the Premier League club that invests a lower propertion of its turnover on the actual football team than any other?

Your comment is pretty childish tbh.

Both are wingers. One may play on the left and the other on the right but their positions are the same. Lucas may be able to be deployed as a striker but his best and strongest position is that of a right winger.

Basically, Lucas is shit.

Fraser is worse.

And neither are good enough to start for a club wanting to compete for the top 4.

Son, Bergwijn, Kane, Dele and Lamela all produce a goal or assist in one a half games or less and are all good enough - sadly, due to Lamela's injury problems we should probably be looking for another attacking player but it's not a priority.

I don't really get the Lucas hate.

Great squad player imo and can have a worldie on his day. Pacey, hard worker and is a decent finisher.

Mourinho obviously rates him and I think most teams would be happy to have him as an option off the bench.

For me it's clear that the front 4 picks itself in a 4231 - Kane with Alli behind and Bergjwin and Son as wide forwards.

Our issue is how to balance the midfield behind that and get the best out of the two most technical players we have (Lo Celso and Ndombele).

But as a back up across that front 4, Lucas and Lamela are good options. I'm not sold on Fraser at all but as a free transfer it's almost zero risk - sell in 2 years for 10m and walk away if he's pony.

I personally like the 433 but that's just because im desperate to get Gio and Tanguy playing sexy football together in the middle... not sure we will ever see it consistently though :(
