We probably don't need an extra winger, so question is whether we want to sign Fraser in order to offload the often injured (but productive when fit) Lamela or less productive, but usually fit, Moura to generate funds to buy another player.

Fraser also likely to be on less wages even with a big signing on fee ?

How much would Lamela or Lucas fetch us in the market? I guess I could be on board with bringing in Fraser if the end game was to sell someone else so we could upgrade elsewhere
 
give it up, there is no summer transfer window for us..
I'm still surprised levy has not tried to charge the NHS for using our stadium. The usual buying potential when we need quality, or just buying second rate players like usual.
 
If we could get 15 mil for Lamela I think I'd rather sell him than Lucas.

LW: 1) Son, 2) Fraser, 3) Sessegnon
RW: 1) Bergwijn, 2) Lucas, 3) Clarke

That's solid depth and we could use that 15 mil towards a DM or RB.
 
I go back and forth on Fraser now that I've thought more about it. I don't think he's great but he's decent and EPL proven. If we can sell Lamela for 10-15 million and use that money to invest in a CDM, I think it makes us a much, much better squad, even if I think Lamela is better than Fraser.

The talk of him replacing Lucas I don't really agree with though but Lucas is maybe the most difficult player in our squad to evaluate. Definition of mercurial.
 
If this guy was called N'Frazier and he was coming from Ligue 1 there would be such a wankathon on this site with jizz all over the place
