???? His game's always been on display but with Zakaria out he's become more central to things. Either way tho, he"s a player. ****
Earlier in the season, I thought it was all sideways and back with him. Thought he needed a lot and time of space to be comfortable showing for the ball. But since the football resumed, I was shocked at how often he was taking it, turning quickly, and driving play forward.

It's strange. When he is running with the ball, he looks like he has reasonable pace. But when he is running without the ball (pressing/recovery runs), he looks utterly glacial.
Ultimately, I think his athleticism is gonna let him down like another Florian up in those parts.
I gave up on that dude after watching him for 37 mins.
I thought you were into that considering your desires. But if we're honest no one at Spurs has ever heard of him.
I sold my soul to Satan for the promise of some silverware. Being dumped out of the FA Cup by an atrocious Norwich team and the throwing of a young man under the bus after yet another tactical horrorshow saw the dam burst.

Agree.

Isn’t this guy always injured? I remember wanting him a few years back but thought he had a terrible injury record.

We've been linked with him for years.

Before the move to Roma he didn't have many injuries at all - had quite a big one at Napoli but that was about it. He's definitely been hit with injuries since though.

Still like Diawara though and we need a DM.

It would be amazing if we brought in both him and Højbjerg. Dreamland but just buying 1 DM probably isn’t enough, all it takes is a long term injury and we are back to square 1.

Would be smart - because Diawara has more strings to his bow than just a DM like Hojbjerg is. He can actually get up and down like a box to box midfielder too.

Au contraire. I mooted the the notion of Neuhaus to our mutual acquaintance from the militant wing of the Fenian Midfield Scouting Faction, but we both ended up agreeing he looked too much like tall Harry Winks for us to countenance the notion seriously.
I think he meant our people don't have our finger on the pulse. And he'd be right. And I am not sure you ought to be calling me a Fenian. Some of my Irish brethren here might take offence to that.

Two good player links in consecutive posts:

Tottenham Hotspur could be offered the chance to sign World Cup winner Corentin Tolisso in a swap deal which would see Tanguy Ndombele leave for Bayern Munich, according to ESPN.

Shame that Tolisso has also had some horrendous injuries in the last couple of years, missed most of 18/19 with a cruciate, and three months of this season, just as he was getting back, did the ligaments in his ankle.

I don't want to lose Ndombele at all, but I have always liked Tolisso, who Ndombele pretty much replaced at Lyon. Still only 25, if his body can recover, he was a really good 8 and much more useful than someone like Coutinho.

Admittedly never watched Gabriel or Kim play but based on their highlights and the scouting reports I’ve read I think both would be great signings considering the value.
