Vague - start out by being this. DON’T mention names. Focus on the obvious positions the club are after and the typical number of signings made during a widow. Mention things could change and there will be ups and downs.

Commit - only do this of there is substantial interest across Twitter or the media. More so if other ITK mention this. Leave an exit strategy though - mention that this is just one option the club are after and things could change ( but state we are hopeful to keep them hooked).

Offence - take it at the absolute maximum if anyone calls you out whether a message or a passive aggressive emoji ( look out for these especially). In such cases mention that this will be the last time you post your information if this continues and ensure that you elicit enough people to rally around you to put this down .

H - Hearing from your 'sources' that a transfer might be on.

E - Exploit the stupidity of the SpursCommunity user base.

R - Repeat that at this point it's only mild links for the 'target' you've heard about.

C - Circle back on your own non-committal rumour and say the links have cooled.

U - Ultimatum. The selling club has given a final price but Don Levy won't budge.

L - Levy time. He's doing everything he can. You can't say who/what/where, but he's definitely trying his best.

E - Expectations. You'll now tell your captive audience that the deal's off and you expect nothing will happen. You then say that if something happens then that'll change. You goddamn genius.

S - Saviour syndrome. Somehow, Spurs actually sign someone. You couldn't confirm it previously because 'the name wasn't out there' but this was the guy you were talking about all along. You totes messaged A&C about it weeks ago.

If I was DL, I'd offer 60 mil for Partey just to mess with the bums down the road ha ha. Would be dead funny to kill the deal for them :) In 2 or 3 years when they've still not won either the league or the CL, they gonna do him Ozil style anyway

We can't! They didn't even have to negotiate with Atletico as they paid his release clause and he just jumped on a plane to England ... absolutely shafted them haha
