If this happened I'd have to seriously question Nuno's judgement.

It's not done until the club has done the bid and the player has done the medical. They didn't accept the first bid so it wasn't done.I imagine it was done in all but name (and tests etc) , people believe journalists too much.
Maybe Levy has promised another midfielder will come in.Obviously Skipp is not going to Newcastle.
We barely have a midfield ffs

MassivelyThe only way Skipp should be loaned is if we buy an excellent midfielder or two. If he goes because we can't get rid of Winks and/or Sissoko then it just makes you despair about where this club is going.

Would you really have Danny Ings lead the line for Spurs next season? Aston Villa paid £30m for a player with 1 year left of his contract and he's on £120,000 a week. You've heard of Ings, were strongly linked with him, now villa have him, same with Leon Bailey. Other clubs have heard of Golini, Gil, Tomiyasu and Romero that's the point, A club like Leicester is now a decent option.
Skipp can go on loan to Newcastle if Barrios is brought in.
There's not much left to crush is there? There's gonna be a lot of souls crushed on this forum in a few weeks.

My concern is, that there is a feeling of inevitability about Kane's departure, this feels like every other time a player has downed tools and eventually we are forced to cave.
I don't like it and feel we should hold firm at all costs.
However, I can see it happening towards the back end of the window, and I'm concerned we won't have the time to get the replacements in and will have to muddle through with Son as our only goalscorer.
I'm frustrated that we haven't sorted out our obvious defensive frailties yet, I think if we get Romero over the line that's a start but we also need to strengthen at right back, and we could do with a partner for Romero as I don't think any of the others cut it in the here and now. Rodon could be the player but that's a big gamble.
So I'm frustrated that Villa can just do the business efficiently. Ings will net them 15 goals next season (barring injuries) which is a great bit of business for £25m
Sampdoria should sell for 20m Euro’s, after all that is how it works now.
| Outs | Ins |
| Sanchez - £20-25m Carter-Vickers - £5m Aurier - Somewhere around £10m Sissoko - FREE (Just let him go , if we can get a fee its a bonus) | New CB - Similar fee to what you got for Sanchez New RB (Probably Tomiyasu) - £15m Backup ST - Depends on fee they want to spend. |

Seems more like a long overdue Eriksen replacement. A creative player that can play anywhere across the front. But looking at the potential difference in valuations we can likely forget it.Damsgaard is another winger who prefers LW so this makes no sense.
