Anel Ahmedhodzic. Malmo
Tyrick Mitchell Crystal Palace.
A centerback and a left back who are young and gettable and in my honest opinion better than most of our options.

Not sure we need a LB with Reguilon in place, Sessegnon doing well at Hoffenheim coming back in the summer and Cirkin waiting in the wings (not to mention Lavinier who Mourhino selected for EL squad who plays RB and LB), plus the option of keeping Davies as back up.

He is young and Danish (which has worked out for us in the past) beyond that he seems pretty meh.

A better option than Moura or Lamela but I would think we could do better than that. If he is the 7th or 8th guy in a massive squad rebuild it would be fine, if he is one of our key additions, especially if we keep Lamela and Moura, its not so fine.

Denzel Dumfries is not extending his contract with PSV (until 2023) according to Voetbal International. Possible Aurier replacement?

EDIT: PSV fans on Reddit have mentioned that he has also made it clear that he is looking to move on. They figure he would be worth around 15 mil.

24 year old RB with growth potential still. Hard worker and energy booster as well as part of PSV's captaincy rotation.
Oh 100% I'd take this guy

Been the best RB in Eredivisie for ages.
Has really good assets too and £15m is a steal.

I am guessing you've never seen him play?

I have seen parts of Sampdoria this year in games he must have played but certainly didn’t notice/wasn’t focused on him.

He's a great player. In fact, I didn't even realise he was just 20 years old.

Definitely the sort of talent we should be aiming for. Especially if we fail to qualify for the CL - personally, I think if we miss out on him, he'll likely end up at Juventus or somewhere and we'd be ruing the missed opportunity.

Reguilon has been superb. Sessegnon has done well, but level of Bundesliga is lower (Kolasinac was in their team of the season a few years ago). Cirkin is completely unproven.

The good news for Reguilon is I hear Real are going for either Mbappe or Haaland. If so, they probably won't be able to afford Reguilon too.

I did not mean to come across as passing on him, I would gladly take him and have been advocating for us to get younger overall, especially on the wings.

I just don't see him coming in and starting alongside Kane and Son so would have him lower down our list of needs since I think Levy will be cheap this offseason, if he is ready for that then great.

I would much rather him here than Moura, Lamela, Bale.

Agree what you say re LB's, but on Sessegnon he made just over 100 appearances for Fulham (mainly in championship) when young (he's still only 20) and whilst Bundesliga is a step below PL the point of the loan was getting him playing regularly again after injury, so think he's better than most options as a back up LB.

Cirkin is still aged 18, so no surprise he's considered 'a talent' but completely unproven, whilst Lavenier aged 20 must have shown something to get into EL squad, even though he's not likely to get that many minutes.

The point of the post was that we look to have a number of options, so no need to consider a Palace player with about 20 appearances, when we have other positions with a lot less options

I can't see Madrid coming back for Reguilon this summer as I think they have bigger issues and think they will stick with current options, but might come back for Reguilon in summer 2022 (but cross fingers they will not ) ..........but by then I hope Sessegnon is more of an established LB option in PL maybe with Cirkin and/or Lavenier also more experienced.

You would rather some 20-year old with 20 appearances in Serie A - who you admit to have hardly watched - over Moura, Lamela and Bale?

The same Serie A that a certain Lamela looked like a world-beater in.

Well we can all breathe a sigh of relief that you have no say in Spurs' "offseason" dealings at least.

Yes

Moura, Lamela and Bale have shown that they are not good enough for us and have shown to be a major issue with us having issues, especially in attack.

We need younger, better players that are creative and can actually make passes.

And unfortunately for you, if you believe the reports, the people who do have a say in Spurs offseason dealings are potentially thinking the same way.

I guess we could go your route and keep throwing out garbage like Lucas and Lamela and hope that this time will be the time they get good after years of sucking.

At a very least we need :

1 CB
1 RB
1 Creative midfielder
1 ST (assuming Vinicius leaves)

If other players leave we need to replace them.
So many potential targets out there at decent prices too , no excuse not to buy these players.

Assuming we don't have a lot of money we can make do with a lot of what we have BUT if there's one thing we need its a CB.

I'd rather we spend most of our money on 1 TOP CB then spend it on 4 or 5 'ok' players. We need to learn to buy quality.

If we don't get a creator we can probably make do with Ndombele/Dele/Lo Celso/Lamela
If we don't get a RB we can probably make do with Tanganga/Aurier/Doherty
If we don't get a ST we could promote a youth player to be backup or invest a small amount of money into a cheaper ST.
CB there is no 'if we don't..'

Reckon the squad will end up looking like similar going into next season:

GK: Lloris, Hart, Whiteman
- Likely to sell Gazzaniga on the permanent and promote Whiteman as our third choice goalkeeper. Though I do think next summer is when we'll need to start looking at the Lloris replacement.

RB: New RB, Doherty
- This is not my preference. I think we should probably cut our losses and get rid of Doherty, but with Aurier only having a year left on his contract, I think he's the one that's likely to move on, keeping Doherty as back up and hopefully signing a new right back that's more in comparison to Reguilon.

CB: New CB, Alderweireld, Dier, Rodon, Davies
- Don't think we'll sign any more than one centre back. Hopefully the leading commanding centre back Mourinho says he requires. Lots of links to Milenkovic of Fiorentina. Though I wouldn't mind us looking at Kounde at Sevilla. I think Sanchez is likely sold. Alderweirelds is still here due to experience and virtue of being better than the other two. Dier is here because he is loved and Rodon has potential. Davies as 5th choice. We'll loan out Tanganga, in my view.

LB: Reguilon, Sessegnon, Davies
- Think this is likely a given. Reguilon for me just adds a completely different dimension to our attacks with his ability to get up the field quickly and also show end product along with it. A season long loan for Sessegnon in the Bundesliga, at LWB, should be good enough for him to come back in and be back up to Reguilon showing hopefully the same enthusiasm to get forward and cause problems.

CM: New CM, Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Skipp, Winks
-
I think this is a given. We've been linked with central midfielders and of course strongly linked with Sabitzer. Definitely need another body in there to replace the likely outgoing Mousa Sissoko. Sabitzer fits the bill, but the extra addition to Skipp in there is also very promising.

LW: Son Heung-Min, Steven Bergwijn
-
Can't really see much change here. Son will sign a new deal (in my view) and will continue to be starter on the left. I think Bergwijn looks much better on the left (A position he usually played for PSV too) and as back up is perfectly serviceable.

RW: New RW, Steven Bergwijn
-
With links recently to Damsgaard, I definitely think we're after a winger, probably for the right side where we've tried Bergwijn, Lucas, Lamela and Bale this season. Bergwijn again the back up for right wing - and whilst our wings may look light, I think if we did sign someone like Sabitzer, the depth in those positions would greatly increase.

ST: Kane
- I genuinely worry about this position - and I think it'd be a mistake to sign an out and out striker. HOPEFULLY the player we sign capable of playing right wing can also play up front to ease the load of Kane when he needs the rest. Besides that? I imagine Scarlett will continue to be round our squad as Parrott is shipped off on loan for another season.

Though I also wouldn't be surprised if we kept Lucas just because we could have a lot of fixtures again next season, he's always fit and can play on either wing, never complains and seems to love being here.

It would worry me if we only had Bergwijn/Son and a new winger for 2 positions

Definietly need a bit more depth than that
Lamela/Moura/Bale - all gone?
Clarke?

I think it's obvious Lamela and Bale will be gone in the summer.

Did say at the bottom that I think Lucas might stay as he can play right and left wing, is reliably fit and works hard for the team.

New RW, Bergwijn, Son, Sabitzer and Lucas would be fine depth tbh - and I wouldn't be against keeping Clarke at all and giving him Europa League games (If that's the competition we end up qualifying for).

I just can't see us signing two new wingers - perhaps one outright winger (Damsgaard) and a wide forward capable of playing out wide and up top (Wamangituka) as examples.

In my honest opinion given how tight finances are I wouldn't buy new wingers.

We need to spend the money in other positions.
When we have a proper number 10 we'll probably look better going foward. Everyone looks to put blame on not having a good RW but its a bit more than that.

I'd 100% send Bale back , that'll save us a lot but next season:

Clarke , Moura , Lamela , Bergwijn and Son fighting for 2 positions is the sort of depth which is good.

Perhaps if they sold Lamela like you suggested and bought in another winger (like suggested) then we'd maintain good depth.
Saying that say we get £x m for Lamela i'd put that £x m into a CB rather than another prospect on the wing.
