I'm worried
If we're hoping to raise funds by selling Sissoko and Dier and then thinking we can buy good players we're in trouble.
Also other clubs will actually invest money without having to sell first meaning we will be even further behind those clubs in front of us probably.
Its filling me with dread right now.
Point is we only need to upgrade the defence, the midfield and attack is very strong just horrifically coached plus shit tactics. My bigger concern is retaining Jose next season, that would fuck us totally.
I am worried too. If this is the plan, it may potential mean a valuable player (in this window) getting sold to fund for the transfer plan.
Can't see our fringe players would bring in enough to help us strengthening in this transfer window. Our scouts would have to work miracles to upgrade on these outgoing players with this rumored low budget.
Vinicius deal unless getting negotiated for much lower fee, I don't think it's certain we're keeping him. Bale case is also up in the air.

I don't think people realize how bad this appt could go down in our recent history.
So many people, Flav, Bardy, and 60% of this board are thinking a singular trophy justifies this horrific display of football.
But what I see is essentially two more years of wasting Kane, Son, Ndombele, and the rest of our rather elite attacking squad.
If Jose is given another year we are getting the Man U treatment. Expensive CB, same shit football, and then a firey exit.
Then we go into a rebuild, lose Kane, and wonder what could have been post Poch with the likes of Gio, Ndombele, PEH, Son, Kane, an old Bale, Dele, Steven, Lucas under the guidance of a progressive coach like "Enter Your Choice Here".
I am a pessimist so I see this all going poorly and really think we shit the bed when Poch essentially put in his resignation

For me it has to has to be Dele.
Dele doesn't really look right in our team anymore , not as crucail as the other players in the starting lineup.
Still relatively young and is English. He may give the right funds for a good window.

I agree and that is all the more dangerous.
Yeah, I still can't justify playing like this for a title and some may think that is insane, but from an early age I really never cared about awards or accolades. I wanted to run and kick that ball and make people cry because we demoralized them as a team.
So as a fan, yeah winning is great, but I think it should be a byproduct of the display you put on the pitch. What attracted me to Spurs when I first started watching the PL was their willingness to throw caution to the wind and to try and play their game. We in theory are playing our game, it just fucking sucks.
And I stand firm that despite the 100+ goals this year, a stat that seems to be the cream over everyone's face right now, we fucking suck offensively. We score Oscar award-winning goals for cinematography, but look anything but inept for 90% of this year's games.
Flav mentioned in this weeks podcast that the display against Palace was great and showed some real flowing movement offensively. Yes, we were on that day in the final third and we have been on that way many times during Jose's run, but it is the other 30 some odd fixtures that concern me, where we fail to act anything like Ali, and more like Frank Bruno.
I would focus solely on the defence.
We need a RB and 2 CBs. Probably a LB given that Reguilon may not be here after another year. I think Sess may be the LB option. For now I can see Davies staying because of the uncertainty of Reguilon and also Sess doesn't fill me with confidence at LB.
We need another DM, on top of Skipp returning.
I would flog Dier, Doherty and Sanchez if possible and Sissoko.
Decide on keeping or flogging Foyth.
Defensively that leaves

Don't agree mate. You're saying that because of one game. First, he didn't get Son sent off, Sonny did that on his own. R might have overreacted but so does everyone, all of ours included.
Then there's the monkeying/booing thing. In all probability he made a mistake, he misheard, but it's something that's unfortunately uppermost in all black players minds. There was a similar case when Rahim Sterling (?) thought a Chelsea fan had called him a "black cunt" when it (apparently) turned out that the chav in question had said "Manc cunt". I wouldn't blame either Sterling or Rudiger, maybe they should have accepted that they may have misheard, but hey ho, I don't think it makes either of them "cunts".
Of course, it doesn't make that part of the Park Lane end or the chav racist, but like I say, unfortunately, these are the times we live in. What I am saying is that I don't think either were malicious in their accusations.
As a player, I'm not saying we should sign him (I'd rather not sign anyone from Arsen@l or Chelsea really). I do think he's a very decent right back and streets ahead of what we have though.
