i know I’m sure part of the reason we didn’t sign players was not lack of funds, but a stand off between agents and Levy. I’m all for building relationships with agents, but not when they turn out shit like Doherty and the Portuguese non entity midfielder - I could scout better players in the Champ than both those two
To be fair, it's not doc's fault that he's terrible.....it's a direct result of the penny pinching the bald one goes in for. I feel a little sorry for him. He knows he's out of his depth.

If we sell one of them and buy a CB ok we've improved in 1 area but then we have a new problem.
Dele/Winks/Sanchez were my suggestions because of all the players which are considered 'deadwood' those 3 are probably the most marketable.

Agree with this. I honestly don't understand anyone who suggests we sell any of our stars. I don't see any suitable replacements.
Dier + Sanchez + Foyth → Andersen + Milenkovic (cash neutral?)
Dele → Sabitzer (could Leipzig accept a player swap? Dele will do well in Bundesliga and Sabitzer contract running out in 2022. Perhaps we'll have to chuck in an extra £5-10M.)
Winks + Davies → Skipp + Sessegnon (Cash in via loan recalls)
Lloris → Areola
The above can all be achieved without any net spend imo. Just takes bravery from Levy.
After this, if we do have any money to actually spend, don't renew Vinicius and get Daka for approx £15-20M.

I just don't know what happened over summer that caused such a drastic change. Granted I don't watch wolves, but the little I did see of him last year looked decent.
We may not be playing in a system that suits his style but that shouldn't take away his ability to make a basic pass
