We need to clear out the hinted at bad apples like Sissoko, Aurier, Dele, Dier and Winks. No matter what manager we have next season the problems will just repeat themselves if these players end up falling out of favour with the new boss.

People are calling for Lucas, Lamela and Davies to go as well but I don't think that those 3 are part of the issues. Yes, they are not our best players. But they consistently work hard and show that they care. That will earn them good will with me. And I think that they are net positives in the locker room and thus can be replaced at a later stage in the rebuild. It is far more important to get rid of the negative elements. And I don't really care who they are replaced with. Could be kids from the academy or guys from the Championship or the Croatian league for all I care. As long as they are willing to work hard to improve themselves as players and thus us a club they will be welcome.

The issue with Lamela has always been his injury record - he's only been available for about a third of all games played over 7 years, so cannot be depended upon to play. So ideally replaced with a decent level player able to play when required

Biggest problem will be to find a club prepared to take on a high wage player with that record of (not) playing.

I disagree. Lamela loves the club, doesn't complain about lack of playing time, and whenever he does play. He is prepared to go to war.

Those are qualities that even despite his injury record, I would wish to keep. I would put Lamela in a position in the locker room where is expected to make sure that any new player coming in follows his lead in that regard.

A "glue guy" as they call it in basketball. Lamela is by all accounts not a negative factor in our locker room. Replacing him can wait.

I'm sure Lamela loves the club. But he can't complain about lack of playing time when its him who isn't fit.

However when Spurs need to rotate an attacker, the fact that Lamela is not available for 2/3rds of the time is a huge disadvantage when there are only 25 players in the squad......and even more so if 3 or 4 players who are usually fit are not available.

To accomodate more Lamela's we'd need a squad of at least 66 players just to have a player and back up in every position, which puts Lamelsa's fitness into perspective.

However trying to sell him could be an impossibility. May need to wait until his contract runs out

Its fascinating listening to Brenda Rodgers saying the profile of player they look to recruit. Hungry, talented and MOSTLY...COACHABLE! I immediately thought about Sissoko Winks and Sanchez.....🤐

And people say they would not want him as manager. So bizarre.

He would not come to us but the guy will get another chance at a big club , with respect to Leicester and deservedly so.

He is doing everything that Pochettino did with us.

Exactly I’m watching them play manure and they are pressing them silly. They may not win the game but are leading 2-1 and deserve to as they have been brave and cowardly like we would be.
