Probably. He has good quality and is decent physically but there's something that stops him from being a consistently dependable player. Sometimes a player like him gets squeezed out a bit by the Di Maria/Neymar/Mbappe ahead of him in the pecking order. Was very good in both games vs Bayern and seems a bit rejuvenated under Poch.

Good thing, we would have to bring back the main loanees ... Skipp, Sessegnon, Clarke ... and fast track the best of the youth team.
On the the other hand, we can't address the main issues we have, particularly at right back.

Konate to Liverpool done.

£30m. That would've been a great price for us. No idea why we didn't go for him.

Liverpool just pay the prices the club want and get their business done early , no wonder they do so well. Buy quality and give them time to bed in as well.

Watched him vs Bremen a few weeks ago and he was so physically dominant. Good signing.

I think that’s good business, I like Konate, but Liverpool don’t always pay what’s asked, last summer they baulked at the 17m asking price for Lewis and paid 10m for Tsimakas instead,

They also refused to pay Werner’s release clause, and went for the cheaper Jota instead.
