First I have seen of this.
This is how we make up the ground we've lost over the last 2 years.. bringing in a 22 year old midfielder who's started 10 of Celtic's last 11 games on the bench.
The manager has always had to take his pick from the players offered to him by the club
Which is just one problem with the current set up.
Given that most of Ligue 1 is currently facing bankruptcy, if you're not shopping there first, you're probably doing it wrong this summer.
Disagree in the sense that if we had a good scouting network and director of football, that is the way you want your club to run. You have a footballing department that oversees transfers and they work in conjunction with a coach/manager to get him the tools he needs to be successful.
It just so happens we have a poor network and Levy is essentially our DOF, so the system in our situation looks poor.
Lamela has been thieving wages for 7 years now - absolutely must GTFO
Bergwyn is the Dutch Njie plus 4 stone - GTFO
Ndombele is the our only creative mid - must keep
Dier - shocking - GTFO
Which is what I said - problems with the current set up.
Arguably this is the worst list i have ever seen you would fail as a football manager my friend.

I don't want Bale sucking up our wage bill. He is past it and we should spend that money on Sarr.

If you do shop there you're probanly doing it for the wrong reasons, especially if your name is Daniel Levy and Steve Hitchins has sent you there.
There are some other questionable rankings here but the one the jumps out first is why is Doherty keep and Reguilon not sure?
How are we getting a better LB than Reguilon? Even if you ignore the massive other needs we have on this team there are so few better LB options than him I don't see how he can be not sure.
Alli, Davies, Dier, Hart, Bale as keep makes no sense either.

The more I watch of Ajax, the more impressed I get by Shurrs and Gravenberch especially.
The thought of Skipp and Gravenberch as our midfield next season is something sadly we'll never get to see. Probably Iceberg and some other "square and backward first" merchant spoiling play.
Amazing how one signing and the bravery to play two young players together could utterly transform us.
