He did alright the last game I watched in terms of ground covered, but other than that he hasn’t caught my attention. I’m more interested in the kid, Lucas Gourna-Douath

I don't follow Turkish football at all but I do know that Trabzonspor is meant to be the biggest club outside of Istanbul.

13 cleansheets in 36 league games this season is not too shabby. But no idea about if he is a shot stopper or a sweeper or such.

24 with a contract until 2024. Also club captain.

Seems very good at 1v1's too from a highlights clip i saw

But for me with limited money Hugo is far away from one of our problems. Focus on new gk/maybe this guy in 2022 window.

Without the ball he worked hard against Lille and got his foot in plenty, he seems like a robust and tenacious fucker, but I’m not sure how dynamic he is or his great he is with the ball/technically etc, or what he’s got between his ears, I’d need to see more of him.

Going to have to watch some actual game footage. Got the Monoco game locked and loaded. Will be back for my judgement after a handful of games in.

I know that was a very quick sample size, but skimmed through the Monoco and PSG games and have seen enough. Barely wants to get involved and when he does it is PEH like in terms of safe play.

Positioning is not that great from what I saw most of his tackles are chasing back to make up for a poor read. Just shows you stats can be a bit fictitious when playing in a side like St. Etienne. Will watch some more, but first viewing is a guy that has some of the physical tools, but like you said BC, maybe the mental side needs developing.
