According to Airfixx Airfixx - as long as our transfers take as long as Woolwich’s ones - were doing well
Are you referring to the one that has actually happened, the one where he made his debut today, the one that is real as we speak. As opposed to our transfer that is identical apart from the fact he has not signed and made his debut
But apart from the two most important parts are quite similar

If Romero makes his debut in about 6 weeks time then they'd make the transfers identical timewise.

But hey, agendas and all that...

From recent feedback, I'd rather given Roden a go than Milenkovic, shows a real sense of spirit (Especially Wales, if he can harness that drive for Spurs). If it comes to it would rather throw 15M onto another position and get top there, than mediocre in 2 positions...

Tomiyasu - Romero - Rodon - Reguilon is a very young / inexperienced back four.

I like Rodon, but it's a tough one. I just can't imagine it's in the plans for him to be a starter in 20+ league games this year. I'm dreading consistent Dier starts. Wouldn't rule out Paratici going for some 26-29yo based in Italy to partner Romero for the year (if he signs) just to have an experienced head.

Milenkovic is 10 days older than Rodon.

Conveniently ignoring that Woolwich went out and began negotiations much earlier so that he would be ready to play in pre season

While we were still dicking around pretending that we were interested in Poch & Conte

But hey , agendas and all that ...

Its almost like there is another factor in the time frame of both deals. Like having a guy in now is somehow more beneficial than 4 games into the season.

But as you say we should ignore that because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Why do people keep allocating Tomiyasu to RB, when he's primarily a CB?

It's bad enough playing flawed RB's, why does anyone want a CB playing out there?

It is also a back 4 with Dier, Tanganga and Davies as the replacement options if Rodon struggles or either Rodon or Romero gets hurt and that is terrible.

Romero is hurt and we are looking at a Rodon-Dier/Tanganga partnership in the PL, No way can we go into the season with that being a real possibility.

Romero just came back off his holidays today.
Odds on IMO he signs very shortly.
I hope your right

Doesnt change the fact that we are two weeks away from kick off and we don't have a single new player ready to come into the first 11 as well as our biggest weakness last season now being even weaker

It is not defendable

Bit like our defence funnily enough
