From the horse's mouth. West Brom are looking to get rid of Pereira. 3 years left on his contract and their rumoured asking price is between 25-30 mil.
Now that's a player I would have liked at Spurs. I wonder why Spurs went after "unproven Gil rather than EPL-proven Pereira.
Apart from being a flair player, he does solid defensive work as well. Pereira made a combined 55 tackles and interceptions for his side last season in 33 games.
Loan out Jack Clarke and get Pereira in for the coming season. He would also match Dele's new hairdo
I see that both West Ham & CP are said to be after him.

Never saw him play.

Ings is a filler. and the other too young to lead our front line
Vlahovic is the same age as Kai Havertz who mostly lead the line for CL winning Chelsea. Same age as Haaland. Same age as Ronaldo when he peaked in 1997. Same age as Kane when he had his breakout season for us. Has it in him to be be a great player, best option for us I think. Ings to help ease him in, very good player.

And I'm shocked people are shocked Kane is kicking off.

If Levy was easier to deal with he wouldn't have to.
Well, it all depends what was said between them. But surely we all agree that Levy won't ever have promised Kane that he can leave on the cheap - and given that Grealish looks like being about £100m, surely Kane must be about £200m. So if Levy is now saying to Kane "You're not leaving even for £200m" then yes he's a scumbag, but I very much doubt that's the case. Levy may have told Kane he could go this summer for a good fee, and if Kane believes that he is in the top 5 forwards in the world, then he must agree that fee should be somewhere near £200m, maybe £180m at the very least.

So if (and it is a big if) Kane is kicking off, then given what a great professional he has always been previously, then yes I really would be shocked and very disappointed.

To be honest, if it's at this stage, just sell Kane. You can't have a club work under the cloud of a star player wanting to leave. It's toxic.

Bleed City for all you can and upgrade everywhere.

It's going to happen. It's a question of how and when.

More the issue of Kane trying to force the price down to a number City are willing to pay but which won’t cover our required rebuild.

I hate everything City stands for but it's nothing new, Forest bought Francis for 1M in 1979 and I expect fans of other clubs felt the same as we do now.

Every year, since the beginning of time clubs have pushed the financial boundaries as it the quickest way to success. United did it for Decades.

The only difference with City and Chelsea is the speed and volume of the cash injection. Jealously of some fans fuels the anger, for others it's the realisation that it's all about the money.

A gradual increase is easier to ignore...

+ Where the money has been allowed to come from.
+ They've been shown to be breaking rules
+ They're being allowed to buy their way out of punishment.

Fact is Levy is a dick and a liar.
If you asked me who I believe about this gentleman's agreement I'd say Kane every time.
Let's just add that Levy sacked a series winner the week before a cup final. If the agreement was "I'd like to leave if we win nothing" then sacking Mourinho and letting a child take over.

Levy's not just going to let anyone in our team we want to keep leave. Not Kane or anyone else. He's not a decent person on that level, he just thinks about the money not the person.
He's let Kane down. Now it's time to be a fucking man and sort this mess out before it gets really really ugly.

By all accounts Kane has signed a contract which has 3 years to run. Signed and agreed by Kane, so Levy is absolutely right to say he's holding him to it.

An unwritten 'gentlemen's agreement' is worth nothing.

But in general terms if ManCity made an offer at the right level - and if Grealish is worth £100m and only 2 years younger than Kane the 'right level' is probably £150m to £200m, then I'm sure a negotiation will take place.

But to date there has been no suggestion that ManCity have made a bid at that level. In fact to be clear ManCity seem to have said they have no intension of making a bid at that level.

So no reason whatsoever for Levy to do anything except to say to Kane 'if you want to leave before the end of the contract I need to have a bid at market value.' Full stop

How hard is that for TFC posters to understand ?
