Might be. We can play hard ball but we might just end up with a disgruntled Kane. Maybe just need to move on.

I agree although there are some concerning reports about some of the reasons that the new WBA manager wants to move on from him.
For me if for reported 15-20m value that was reported earlier in summer I think I would be willing to take him on even if the reports are true but if we are getting up close to 30m then I think I might not want to take the risks.

I thought Fabrizio had said the offer was 100m but that they were willing to look at offers involving players. To me the implication was that the 100m was just to get in the door but they knew there would be more negotiating to go on, but it is tough to follow him on his twitch show as they bounce around like crazy and talk so fast with their accents so it may have been 100m or players worth 100m.
Also one update on Pereria, he has told WBA he'd be happy to move to Al-Hilal (and even referenced their offer as 'financial security' in his statement).

We have to come out better in this deal to not be pushed around by oil. City are fuck all without their owners. Likewise with chelsea. 120m plus laporte, bernardo silva or gabriel jesus or all 3.
I am not sure that changes the level of player that he is.
Lucas, the player he is likely replacing, also had links to Saudi Arabia (maybe the same club), so I am not as concerned about that.
What would worry me though is coupled with some of the other reports, it could show that he is fine taking the money so his motivations and commitment might be a concern.
We have to try and salvage some hope out of this situation even if it is total false hope.
