Lukaku deal being £110m had to have helped Levy even more than Grealish at £100m did.
Sanchez will leave. Tanganga need to play, with is age, every weekend.Says a lot about Nuno if he thinks Sanchez and Dier are better!
Exactly. I mean I get it. I'm a miserable bastard. A poor man's Karl Pilkington. But how can anyone here not be extremely concerned when Aston fucking Villa now have a better attack than us?
So because I'm saying we have no chance of signing Martinez you're randomly making up that I said we'll do nothing? Makes sense.
The state of some posters here.
Gollini - looks like a proper good goalkeeper
Romero - nearly signed, stat wise the best defender in the Italian league last season, major signing!!!
Bryan Gil - tricky winger, future megastar but bit young
If this story is true...I am not saying he can't develop at Galatasaray but I find it a bit strange that they loan him out to a Turkish club rather than an English EPL club (or even a championship club), where he could get used to playing regularly in the EPL and get used to its "style".
He is enjoying playing regularly at PSV, that's the reason he went there. I'd be surprised if he leaves this summer, I'd be shocked if he came back to Spurs.
In Nuno's defense he doesn't know who is better. But he knows pecking order I'm sure and unfortunately Tanganga gets the short straw. Fans know it would be dumb to get rid of him but you can't have a stockpile of players also.Says a lot about Nuno if he thinks Sanchez and Dier are better!

I think you’re right actually about us needing a midfielder. Partly because Dele is too much of a risk in midfield, even as a back up (his best position is support striker rather than mid, even if he recovers form).
What about Tchouameni?
It read like there was a hint of suggestion that I want villa to finish above us
But fair enough , I did caveat with 'as things stand' for a reason
We may well boost the squad in a positive manner over the next few weeks but I think I have reasonable cause for doubt based on previous windows
Adama is better than nothing, but he isn't ideal. If we're losing Kane, we need the RW to be a goalscorer. He sounds interesting I don’t know enough about him to say for sure.
Good to hear you are coming around to my thinking, now to just convince you about some of your opinions on a couple of RWs.
Sod's law about the timing of Kane throwing his toys out the pram then.Daka might have been another Maddison situation. Looks at us with Kane as our striker and figures he'll get significantly more game time for an equally good team. Just as Maddison did when we had peak Eriksen and figured he'd rather be starting in a midtable team on the up, than sitting on the bench in a top 4 team.
I agree , but we had a chance to not be in that next eight, but challenging that 4, maybe not for the title but CL spot. Unfortunately a lack of investment until it was to late, along with poor managerial decisions has cost us dearlyMeh, they have as many question marks as we do.
Honestly there's a Big Four that will walk the CL places then the next...eight? could all be thrown in a blender, who knows.
Because it implies Levy might have done something right (like build a world class stadium) and that just isn't acceptable for the noisy few.
