Surprise, surprise.... Inter are after Vlahovic. If they do sell both Martinez and Lukaku, then they will have plenty of money, plus CL footy

When you move like a tortoise you should expect other bidders to come in.

Daka might have been another Maddison situation. Looks at us with Kane as our striker and figures he'll get significantly more game time for an equally good team. Just as Maddison did when we had peak Eriksen and figured he'd rather be starting in a midtable team on the up, than sitting on the bench in a top 4 team.

Kane did that Sky interview in May, don't tell me he privately hadn't told Levy by then or just after that he wanted a move this summer. A proactive club at that moment would have been looking at and talking to replacements and have deals lined up. This is the problem with Levy's strategy, players don't want to wait until the end of the transfer window while Levy squeezes the balls of the buying club all summer but anyway eventually caves in and sells his wantaway star player at the last minute. It's a mugs game because we are left with a pot of cash but no-one decent to spend it on. The wanker will never learn.

I was talking about the rumours about Illaix Moriba as a possible Spurs target yesterday, but after reading these comments about he seems like another young top-talent being misguided by his agent(s) into going for big money right away rather than focusing on his football career.
Yes, switching clubs - and country - worked for Sancho, Madueke, Bellingham but they did not switch clubs because of money but as wise career moves to develop as players.

But according to reports, the 18-year-old's reps have made a series of outrageous demands to the club - who are still in dire financial straits.
Barca are eager to retain the Guinean-born Spaniard's services, but Laporta insists the club won't be held to ransom.

He said: “We will try to make sure that his case is not repeated anymore.
"He has one year left on his contract and does not want to accept the club’s conditions.
"We do not accept that and we want to send a message to the team.
“If you do not want to renew, we have other solutions. What we don’t want our players made at La Masia who don’t want to renew.
"He’s a player we’ve given opportunities, but the club is above all. I would like you [Moriba] to think again.
“We cannot allow him to be promoted and then leave. We won’t accept that with any player.
"If he wants to go and it’s because he has other options, he can leave the club”.

I hope he comes back a much better player after this Galatasaray experience. Not long again it was hoped he would be the "solution" to the RB problem - but apparently not for the next season. So I really hope that Nuno & Paratici have at least 1 RB in mind ...
Maybe Jayden Bogle could be an option - he sure is good going forward but Spurs need solid defenders.

Anyone you think is a replacement for Kane is already being looked at by half of Europe.

While we act like little bitch mother fuckers, they'll get snapped up.
Then we'll lose Kane.

Yep. We need to go and get Vlahovic done asap, otherwise we know how this ends, the same it did with Berbatov in 2008 where we're going around clubs last day of the window with a begging bowl when every decent player has already moved. Kane will likely be gone this window, if not 100% in 12 months . Just bloody pull our fingers out. Watching our lack of urgency window after window is fucking purgatory.
