Apparently there's been noise that would allow non Russian players in Russia suspend their contract and play elsewhere. That's just a glorified loan outside of the the window though.

I think this situation might really show up who on twitter/forums has any real intel, as I simply cannot see any governing body around the world allowing any money to go to a Russian football team.
That's the case until the end of the season, next season is not decided as they are meant to return to the Russian clubs

West Ham and Villa though to be after Kalvin Philips?

We should drop our balls on the table there. Very handy player
Good player but I think we can find better value abroad.

I think we have the busy, combative CM profile covered in Skipp/PEH/Bentancur.

I'd like the new CM to be more of a technical pass master - Conte's new Brozovic if you will.

Of course they still need to be durable and have the engine to play the system. I trust in Don P to find that guy.

I'd like exactly what you suggest....and Kalvin Philips think of him as Harry Winks replacement. I was told after the EC Philips would rather like to play for us. Think he'd be a really smart buy.

Szoboszlai and Philips yes please🙏

And to those who still want Spurs to pursue Declan Rice this summer... If £150M indeed is his price which clubs would be crazy enough to pay that?
Man City's priority is a CF...

Woolwich and Tottenham transfer target Paulo Dybala slammed as ‘a big cry baby’ by Di Canio over Juventus contract talks

  • 16:00, 23 Mar 2022
PAOLO DI CANIO has hit out at Juventus star Paulo Dybala and branded the Argentine ace 'a big cry baby'.
The 28-year-old will depart Turin in the summer on a free transfer after it was confirmed he failed to agree terms on a new deal.

Juventus' CEO Maurizio Arrivabene revealed that the versatile forward was no longer in the club's long-term plans following the January arrival of Dusan Vlahovic.

He said: "The most important change is that Juventus have not renewed Paulo Dybala’s contract. With the market I reiterated this, the approach was sincere.

“With the purchases made in January, with the arrival of Vlahovic, Paulo’s position was no longer at the centre of the project. That’s why this kind of decision was preferred.

“The parameters were different, I had already spoken about it, no one has ever questioned Paulo’s ability.

"There were considerations to be made about appearances, length and financial considerations.

“We made our choices in January, we got here. It would have been easy for Juventus to make a low bid, but it would have been disrespectful towards Paulo."

Woolwich have been linked with snapping up the five-time Serie A winner, with North London rivals Tottenham also interested.

Meanwhile Manchester United are also keen on landing Dybala, who is free to talk to clubs outside of Italy.

But any potential suitors for Dybala have been warned off signing him by ex-Old Lady star Di Canio.

The West Ham icon has branded Dybala as a troublemaker, which could lead to Mikel Arteta deciding against signing him, with the Spaniard showing he refuses to work with players with disciplinary problems.

And Spurs gaffer Antonio Conte was quick to offload Tanguy Ndombele in January over attitude issues.

Quoted by Corriere dello Sport, Di Canio said: "It's true that he could become a technical leader.

"But I cannot have an emotionally fragile one.

"If things go well, he turns up in games, but if things go wrong, I define him almost as a big cry baby."

Dybala has impressed for Juve this term - chipping in with 13 goals and six assists in 29 games in all competitions.

I love Kalvin Phillips as a player, but he's had quite a few injury issues the last two seasons and Leeds would want a serious sum for him. Would be a concern.

But if he's fit, he'd really round our midfield nicely: Bentancur, Phillips, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Sarr.

Lo Celso and Ndombele are still our players as well, unless we can find a way to move them on.
